The student was on a street in Cape Town, South Africa, that is popular with tourists when a man approached, pulled out a knife and stabbed her repeatedly in the neck before stealing her bag. He can then be seen walking briskly up the street as passers-by rush to the woman's aid. She was taken by ambulance to hospital where she is now recovering from her injuries. The attack was caught on CCTV which has been passed to police who say they have identified the man, but have not yet made an arrest.

A mountain lion chased two young girls that it spotted through a barrier at a zoo. Video captured the two girls squealing and running up and down five times as the lion is in pursuit. It then stops and tries to lick the glass next to them when they also stop moving. Mountain lions have attacked humans in the past. A mother jumped on one and tried to pry its jaws open after it attacked her seven-year-old son in Canada. #funny
