One of New Zealand's largest Māori gangs have performed an emotional haka in a powerful tribute to the Christchurch massacre victims. The poignant moment saw around ten members of Black Power, which was first formed in 1970, gather near to the police cordon at Al Noor Mosque in Christchurch to perform the ceremonial dance. The group were surrounded by mourners who had gathered at a flower vigil to pay their respects to the victims of Friday's terror attack.

At least one person has died and a number of people injured in a shooting in the central Dutch city of Utrecht, some 25 miles south of Amsterdam, on Monday morning. A gunman opened fire on a tram in the city centre at around 10.45 local time on Monday morning, witnesses say. The Utrecht police said a square at a tram station outside the city centre had been cordoned off as emergency services were at the scene. 😱👮🏻‍♂️

Two boys aged 16 and 17 and a girl aged 17 have died, police confirmed today, after disruption broke out in a large crowd of young people waiting to get in to a St Patrick's Day according to eyewitness reports. One young man said that after a rush rippled through the crown as many as 100 people were pushed off their feet and pinned to the ground for as long as 20 minutes. This morning police closed off the scene, the Greenvale Hotel in Cookstown, County Tyrone, a popular venue for youth parties in the area. Another 16-year-old girl is in a stable condition in hospital, while a further two teenagers were treated for injuries they suffered during the incident at about 9.30pm. 😱
