The same politicians who want to disarm us have unlocked prison cells and released hundreds of thousands of violent felons onto our streets. The same governors dismantling police are actively working to make sure criminals with guns never face justice. Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer would rather kill the Second Amendment than save lives.

The Minneapolis courthouse where ex-cop Derek Chauvin will stand trial for murder in the death of George Floyd is being turned into a veritable fortress. Hennepin County District Court, where jury selection is due to begin March 8, is being ringed with concrete barriers, security fencing, and barbed wire — and a beefed-up security presence that will include the National Guard. “There’s going to be very high emotion on all sides of this, and we’ll be prepared,” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said. Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey came under fire in the wake of Floyd’s police-custody death on May 25, when they were unable to quell rioters who clashed with police, set fires, and looted parts of the city.
This sent chills down our spine. For months, politicians did nothing about the anarchists burning down our cities, destroying businesses and attacking police.
But suddenly the threat is those who believe in the Constitution?

New Orleans, Louisiana -- Tulane University Police Officer Martinus Mitchum was shot Friday while working at George Washington Carver High School in the 3000 block of Higgins Boulevard, the New Orleans Police Department said. John Shallerhorn, 35, was booked early Saturday for armed robbery and first-degree murder of a policeman, Fox LA reported, citing Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office jail records. After arriving at the high school Friday, Shallerhorn allegedly robbed a 39-year-old man sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot, raising his shirt to brandish a firearm and demanding the victim's medallion chain, police said. The victim handed the chain to Shallerhorn, who then attempted to enter the school but was stopped for not wearing a mask. #RIP
