Are you kidding? The Board of Ed says it will divert $25 million from its school policing agency and instead "fund Black student achievement".
The move will also cut 133 policing jobs. Can anyone explain how this will make schools safer?

Today, NASA's Perseverance rover will reach Mars going nearly 12,500 mph, then seek the surface in a nerve-wracking descent dubbed “seven minutes of terror.” It takes 11 minutes for radio signals to reach Earth, so the rover will have to do it on its own.
Perseverance will start its mission on the Jezero Crater floor, move across its delta and then up the crater rim. NASA estimates the vehicle will travel about 10 miles, operating over a period of 687 Earth days, the equivalent of one year on Mars. The rover will begin collecting and storing rock samples about two months after landing. It will search for ancient microbial life by drilling into rocks formed by water, extracting core samples, and storing 30 of them for retrieval by a future mission.
