Meanwhile, in India -- Delhi Police fired tear-gas shells on a section of farmers near Akshardham temple and Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar here on Tuesday as they entered Delhi ahead of their planned 'Kisan Gantantra Parade'. The agitating farmers, comprising mostly youths, earlier broke through the barricades set up by police near Ghazipur entry point on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border and Singhu and Tikri points on Delhi-Haryana border. AS soon as they reached near the Akshardham intersection on the Delhi-Meerut Highway, police fired tear-gas shells. The farmers then indulged in stone-pelting to break windscreens of passing trucks as well as DTC buses parked on the road to stop them from moving inside Delhi.

A tornado barreled through a northern suburb of Birmingham, Ala., late on Monday night, collapsing buildings, trapping people in their homes and setting off frantic rescue efforts, the authorities said. The storm, which struck the city of Fultondale just before 11 p.m. local time, was part of a band of severe weather systems that extended across much of the Southeast, local meteorologists reported. A Hampton Inn off Interstate 65 in Fultondale was mangled by the tornado, which tore off part of the roof, photographs shared online showed. โ€œWe do still have people trapped in houses,โ€ Larry Holcomb, the cityโ€™s mayor, said by telephone early Tuesday. Mr. Holcomb said that emergency responders were assessing the damage, but that he was not aware of any deaths as of midnight. The mayor said he had been at home when the tornado hit and that streets in his neighborhood were blocked by fallen trees.

FOX 11 was once again there as LASD deputies raided the event Saturday night. The crackdown happened as the stunned homeowners showed up to find out their Airbnb guests had thrown the party behind their backs in Ladera Heights. "This is the LA County Sheriff's Department. You need to come out of the front door with your hands up," a deputy on scene said over an intercom. The superspreader event happened Saturday night and LASD's superspreader task force "Everyone inside of West 60th Street, the party's over," the deputy was heard saying over the intercom. Dozens of partygoers made their way out of the house and began gathering in front of the property, where LASD detained them and issued more than 60 total citations.
A wildlife mystery needs solving in southern Texas and experts wouldnโ€™t mind your to help โ€” if you can stomach the details. It involves a December trail camera photo that caught a large mountain lion dragging another animal in its mouth. Apparently, not even wildlife experts can identify the unlucky prey, which is a bit disconcerting. โ€œCan you identify this prey animal taken in Terrell County?
