TORRANCE, Calif. - Police were on scene at the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance on Saturday evening. Officers from the Torrance Police Department and other South Bay agencies were on the scene. The disturbance started about 5 p.m. in the mall at 3525 W Carson St., said Torrance police Sgt. Alexander Martinez. The teens were "running around" the mall, but no looting or vandalism was reported, Martinez said. Officers helped mall security escort the teens out of the mall, although some lingered in the parking lots, he said. Police say the teens were mostly gone by about 6:45 p.m. Most stores closed when the disturbance started for the safety of their employees, Martinez said. He was not certain whether the mall would reopen, as it was scheduled to close by 8 p.m. Police warn to avoid the area until further notice.

Torrance CA -- Apart from the alleged looting by these teenagers, there was fights in the parking lot at Del Amo Mall. For a second I thought the driver was going to run over the people fighting. Almost 500 teens showed up and now it’s just a few of them scattered around taunting local police officers. Torrance Police declared it an unlawful assembly at 6:30 p.m.

Los Angeles -- One man was fatally shot and two others were injured after a shooting in Boyle Heights Saturday night. Authorities were called about 8:48 p.m. to 703 N Fickett St. Los Angeles, CA 90033 about a person shooting at a group of people and then fleeing the scene, according to Officer D. Orris at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center. The shooting left one man fatally wounded. Another man and a woman were hospitalized with injuries, LAPD said. There were no reports of an arrest. A detailed description of the shooter was not immediately available.
