Video from Instagram shows a man in south Minneapolis open his pickup door, look around and fire several gunshots in the air early on New Year's Day. - For some reason
Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have taken down a video in which President Trump addressed his supporters as a mob of pro-Trump protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol Wednesday afternoon. The sites said the video, in which Mr. Trump seemingly sympathized with protesters and repeated claims about the election, contributed to ongoing violence and violated misinformation policies. Twitter and Facebook went a step further and temporarily locked the president's accounts. Twitter said that if Trump continues to violate Twitter rules after the 12-hour freeze, the Donald Trump account will be permanently suspended. It seems that only the Russian social networks Odnoklassniki and Vkontakte are currently the stronghold of freedom and democracy.

Tucker Carlson Tonight: Capitol Hill Chaos. You may have nothing in common with people on the other side of the country. Increasingly, you probably don’t. The idea that groups of Americans will somehow break off into separate nations of like-minded people — that is fantasy. There is no such thing as a peaceful separation. The two hemispheres of this country are inseparably intertwined. They are co-joined twins. Neither can leave without killing the other. So that’s the first thing to know: as awful as this moment is, we have no option but to make it better. The second thing to consider is why the woman who was killed today went to the rally in the first place. We don’t know anything about her, but she didn’t look particularly radical. She bore no resemblance to the angry children we’ve seen wreck our cities recently. The woman in the Capitol hallway looked pretty much like everyone else. So why was she there? Why were any of them there today? We ought to think about that.

The shooting that unfolded early Tuesday morning was the second such incident of its kind over a period of less than 24 hours – and questions remain Wednesday surrounding the events leading up to the gunfire. Police Chief Brian Manley told reporters Tuesday that the incident began around 12:30 a.m. when an off-duty officer traveling to a neighborhood in his personal vehicle "noticed there was a car behind him and this car then abruptly cut him off. "As the vehicle pulled alongside him, the officer reported that he saw the driver point a firearm at him," Manley said. The officer in response fired "multiple rounds" at the suspect’s vehicle before making a 911 call to report the incident, according to Manley. He then followed the car down a street until it came to a stop and responding officers arrived, Manley a

Here is drone video showing the fight that broke out that led Beverly Hills PD to declare an unlawful assembly. In the bottom right, you’ll see counter protesters holding a “F**k Trump” sign walk into the pro Trump crowd. A punch is thrown at them, and it ignites a brawl. The man was treated on scene by paramedics and appeared to be okay. Police cleared the area quickly afterwards.
