Tucker Carlson Tonight: The defining characteristic of the American ruling class is narcissism. The people in charge talk almost exclusively about themselves, about their limitless neuroses, their so-called privilege, their guilt about that privilege, their "identity." No matter what they're saying, it's always all about them. America's frame of reference has shrunk to the point where we can only see ourselves, and the rest of the world knows that -- especially China. China's leaders aren't frivolous and stupid like our leaders are. They don't care what pronouns you use. They don't hire people because of the way they look. They have a very specific goal: To knock the U.S. from our perch. To accelerate this, the Chinese Communist Party has engaged in a ceaseless effort to subvert our leadership class, and that has worked more effectively than anyone imagined.
KANAWHA COUNTY, WVa. – A 2-mile radius shelter-in-place is in effect late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning after an explosion at the Chemours plant along West Dupont Avenue in Belle, Metro 911 dispatchers say. Kanawha County Commission President Kent Carper said three people were transported to the hospital, while a third person took himself to seek treatment. Two of the people transported were from inside the plant. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. As of just before 2 a.m. Wednesday, the commission reported the fire was still burning at the plant. They say first responders will have to let the fire burn out before they’ll be able to go in and assess the scene. A determination about lifting the shelter-in-place will not be made until that assessment is made.

Tucker Carlson Tonight: Comedian Adam Carolla is leaving California: "Let's do this simple thought experiment. I just heard Elon Musk was moving to Texas. So the smartest man on the planet is deciding to move away from the dumbest governor in the United States ... What does that say to the rest of us?"
An explosion hit a Polish supermarket in the Beverhof shopping centre in Beverwijk, on early Wednesday morning. This is the third blast to strike a Polish store in two days, in the Netherlands. The explosion happened at around 05:15 (04:15 GMT) and severely damaged the facade of the supermarket, with no reported injuries or casualties according to local authorities. Police and firefighters were seen investigating the cordoned off site, where debris were scattered around. This was the third explosion that happened in two days, as two other Polish shops were damaged in the night from Monday to Tuesday in Heeswijk-Dinther and Aalsmeer. The latter is reported to belong to the same owner as that of Beverhof's. Authorities are yet to clarify the cause of the explosions.
Australia -- Defence has grounded 35 Australian warplanes after two crew members were forced to eject from a $75 million jet fighter during an aborted take-off at an air base in Queensland. Investigators are heading to RAAF Base Amberley outside Brisbane to figure out what led to the incident, which has caused damage to the F/A-18F Super Hornet. Defence Minister Linda Reynolds confirmed the two pilots were safe, but said the entire RAAF fleet of Super Hornet and Growler jet fighters was being grounded out of an "abundance of caution". The Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Mel Hupfeld, would not put a timeframe on the investigation, or how long the jet fighters would be out of action.
