Interstate 94 in Minnesota closed due to fiery crash as snow squall limits visibility. A fiery crash shut both directions of a major interstate in Minnesota on Thursday as a snow squall was blasting across the state. The Minnesota State Patrol said the accident happened just before 9 a.m. local time and shut lanes in both directions on Interstate 94 in Monticello, located about 40 miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis. "The State Patrol is investigating a large crash; however, injuries have not yet been determined," State Patrol spokesman Sgt. Jesse Grabow said in a news release. Traffic cameras from the scene showed several trucks involved, including one on fire emitting large amounts of smoke.

Pennsylvania: State statute forbids destruction of ballot envelopes prior to two years. That illegal act throws into question auditing; thus, it could be argued, those votes cannot be certified. (There are 100K suspect mail-in ballot dates, per the state's official database.)
JERUSALEM - The international force that monitors the Israeli-Egyptian peace agreement said Thursday that eight peacekeepers, including six Americans, were killed when one of its helicopters crashed during a routine mission in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. A ninth peacekeeper was badly injured. The Multinational Force and Observers said a French peacekeeper and Czech member of the force were also killed. It did not release the names of the dead, pending notification of their families. It said the injured peacekeeper was American. The MFO said the helicopter crashed during a routine mission near Sharm el-Sheikh, a popular Egyptian resort city on the Red Sea, and that an investigation was underway. It did not give a precise location of the crash or say whether the helicopter fell on land or crashed into the sea.
