CHICAGO - A woman stabbed an employee more than two dozen times while another woman held him by the hair after they were told to wear a mask inside a West Side store, according to police. Jessica Hill, 21, and Jayla Hill, 18, each face a count of attempted murder in the Sunday attack that left the worker in critical condition, Chicago police said. They entered a small shop about 6 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Roosevelt Road and were greeted by an employee who asked them to put on face masks and use hand sanitizer by the front door, police spokeswoman Karie James said. The pair refused and began to argue with the employee, a 32-year-old man, James said. The women were arrested at the scene, James said. They were both treated for minor lacerations at St. Anthony Hospital. They are expected to appear for a bail hearing later Tuesday.

Bodycam footage in Providence PD involved moped crash w/ 24 yr Jhamal Gonsalves, RI. The family of Jhamal Gonsalves, a 24-year-old man who was critically injured in a moped crash involving the Providence police, was shown body camera footage of the incident on Sunday. Jhamal Gonsalves, 24, was critically injured in a moped crash involving the Providence police on Oct. 18. Authorities including the state attorney general and the Providence public safety commissioner briefed the family ahead of the public release of five videos. The videos released so far show Endres’ cruiser following Gonsalves on Elmwood Avenue; another cruiser pulls out from Bissell Street, stops on the street in front of Gonsalves, and then lurches forward. Avoiding the cruiser in front of him, Gonsalves tried to take a right hand turn down Bissell Street, with Endres’ cruiser following behind. The crash took place shortly after. (Read more.)

The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit is looking to identify / locate the vehicle, depicted in the following surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting death of an eighteen year old male, that occurred on Sunday, May 31st, 2020, in the unit block of N. Hobart Street. The vehicle, described as a late model Ford Fusion, dark in color (either black or dark blue), is observed following the victim who is riding a bicycle several blocks from the area of 60th & Market Streets to where the shooting occurs. The vehicle parks on Hobart Street with the driver remaining in the vehicle, while three (3) males, described as young Black males, exit the vehicle and at least two of the males fire close to twenty (20) shots at the victim, killing him and wounding three additional males who were in the block at the time of the shooting.

CAUTION: Infrared lighting may affect the color of the individual's clothing as well as his skin complexion, possibly making them appear (much) lighter than they really are.

THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $20,000 LEADING TO AN ARREST AND CONVICTION FOR EVERY HOMICIDE.
