Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Area are seeking the public's help in identifying an attempt kidnapping suspect. On Oct 8 at 6pm the suspect attempted to kidnap a 1 yr old from the victim’s arms at Manchester/Main. Minutes later the susp attempted to kidnap a 5 yr old from a nearby apartment complex. The suspect has been described as a Hispanic female between 20 to 35-years-old, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 135 pounds with short cropped brown hair. She was wearing a white shirt, light green shorts, and dark slippers. Any info call 323-786-5412. #LAPD

A U.S. Navy sailor killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor has been identified and is set to be buried in Kentucky. Navy Fireman 2nd Class Martin D. Young was on the USS Oklahoma when it was attacked by Japanese aircraft on Dec. 7, 1941. Young, who was 21 years old when he died, was among 429 USS Oklahoma crew members killed in the attack. The sailor will be buried on May 15, 2021, in Lewisport, Ky., according to officials.
