BREAKING! As the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict continues to escalate, Armenian officials warned Turkey against deploying their American-built F-16 fighter jets in support of the Azeri offensive. However, if the situation comes to that, the Armenian military is ready to retaliate with Russian-made Iskander ballistic missiles. The Armenian ambassador to Russia said that “all measures, including the Iskanders” were on the table if Ankara deployed the jets, but added that he still retains hope that the conflict’s escalation won’t reach a point that would warrant the use of heavy weaponry. Responding to these statements, Azerbaijan’s foreign minister claimed that Baku has an “adequate response” no matter what Armenian military throws their way.

VERNON, Calif. - Some 26 animal rights activists were arrested overnight Tuesday as they attempted to shut down operations at the Farmer John slaughterhouse in Vernon. Six people were arrested on suspicion of trespassing for entering the facility, while another 20 were arrested for alleged public nuisance for blocking trucks from delivering pigs to the plant, according to Direct Action Everywhere, whose Los Angeles chapter hosted the event.
