The Los Angeles Police Department's Central Area detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a homicide suspect. On August 07, 2020, around 12:05 a.m., victim-1 (male Hispanic, 30-years-old) and victim-2 (male Hispanic 7-years-old) were sitting inside their vehicle in a parking lot near the intersection of Adams Boulevard and Central Avenue. The suspect exited his vehicle, approached the victim's vehicle and fired multiple rounds striking both victims. The suspect entered his vehicle and fled the location. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported both victims to a local hospital where victim-1 died from his injuries, and victim-2 was listed in serious condition. The suspect is described as a male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. He was seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweat shirt. More info. #LAPD

Some 300 people gathered along a main thoroughfare in Malmo on Friday around 7:30pm local time to protest after members of a far-right political party staged a Koran burning earlier in the day, according to local press reports. As the crowd grew, fires were ignited in the street and several cars torched, prompting a heavy police response that struggled to bring the situation under control.
