Nearly 300 New York police officers have been injured amid the ongoing protests following George Floyd's death, Fox News has learned.

Warning, graphic content: An NYPD officer was stabbed in NYC in what is described as a possible terrorist attack. The NYPD has released a video of what they're describing as a "planned assassination attempt" Wednesday on one of their officers who was on anti-looting patrol in Brooklyn. "Earlier this week, 1 of our officers was stabbed in the neck without warning while protecting NYers," the NYPD tweeted on Saturday. "This was not a chance encounter—it was a planned assassination attempt on an #NYPD police officer. It's only by sheer luck that this didn't have a drastically different outcome."

A GOP congressional candidate is accusing Facebook of "censorship" after the social media giant took down a campaign video that shows her holding an AR-15 rifle and warning Antifa to "stay the hell out of northwest Georgia." Marjorie Greene, a businesswoman running in Georgia's 14th District, posted the ad on Facebook Tuesday. By Thursday, Facebook told her campaign the video was coming down because it violated company policies against promoting the use of firearms. The video is still running on Twitter, and Greene has bought air time to run the ad on broadcast and cable TV in advance of the Tuesday primary. "Facebook lets Antifa organize terrorist attacks on America and allows videos of innocent Americans being brutally attacked, but pulls my post down," she told Fox News. "America is a country of law and order -- not anarchy. Telling Antifa thugs to stay out of northwest Georgia is not a violation of Facebook."
A statue of Britain's most renowned leader Winston Churchill has been vandalized in London as protesters turned out to speak against racism. The vandalism came on the anniversary of D-Day when allied forces -- partially led by Churchill -- stormed the beaches of Normandy during World War II. Footage online showed the bottom of the statue bearing neon green graffiti that read "ACAB," which stands for "all cops are b-------." While it's unclear who the perpetrator was, many blamed the protesters and called out the police for not doing more to protect the statue. Police eventually surrounded the statue in an apparent attempt to protect it from further defacement in Parliament Square, where thousands of protesters had gathered, according to The Sun.
NYC corrections officer suspended over sick George Floyd parody photo. A city correction officer allegedly posted a sickening online parody of the George Floyd death photo — with the white worker shown kneeling on the neck of his union’s black president — resulting in his suspension Friday. The image was posted Thursday to the Facebook page of city Correction Department driver Derrick Lascko and deleted later that day after an online uproar among jail guards. The image superimposed Lascko’s face over that of white former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin, as Chauvin was caught on video with his knee to Floyd’s neck. In place of Floyd’s face was that of Elias Husamudeen, the president of Lascko’s union, the Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association.

RICHMOND, Va. — A small group of demonstrators toppled a statue of a Confederate general in the the former capital of the Confederacy late Saturday, following a day of largely peaceful protests in the Virginia city. The statue of Gen. Williams Carter Wickham was pulled from its pedestal in Monroe Park, a Richmond police spokeswoman said. She said she did not know if there were any arrests or damage done to the statue. A rope had been tied around the Confederate statue, which has stood since 1891, The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported, adding that someone urinated on the statue after it was pulled down. Photos and video from the newspaper showed the what appeared to be red paint splashed or sprayed on the statue.
