#NYPD cops stopped a speeding car on the Staten Island Expressway to find a pregnant woman in labor and helped to deliver her baby boy while still on the highway. Officers had pulled over the speeding vehicle just before midnight. That's when they came across a 32-year-mother, already in labor. The cops sprung into action and helped deliver the baby boy while still on the roadway. Police Commissioner Dermot Shea was so proud of the officers that he tweeted footage from inside a patrol car as the mother and her baby boy were taken to a hospital. NYPD Highway officer Adam May, a former EMT, and Sergeant Anthony Delmonte, a former paramedic, had delivered the baby, ABC 7 reported. 'I think God was looking down because we have a former EMT and a former paramedic in the cop and the sergeant,' Shea said.
