FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California — Man armed with ‘multiple weapons’ enters SoCal Hospital, is taken down by staff. A suspect is in custody after entering a Southern California hospital with at least two weapons Wednesday. Witnesses say the man, wearing a surgical mask, walked into Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center holding what appeared to be a gun. Local media reports staff members tackled him and waited for police to arrive. Initial reports indicated an active shooter but no injuries have been reported. A motive for the crime remains under investigation.

An intriguing video from Siberia shows a trio of white orbs seemingly hovering in a triangular formation in the sky. The curious footage was reportedly filmed in the parking lot of a shopping center in the city of Tomsk, Russia, earlier this week and, shortly thereafter, popped up on Russian social media, where it quickly went viral, the Coasttocoastam reported. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer shared a video on Twitter Wednesday telling children that the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy classify as essential workers and can continue doing their jobs during the statewide stay-at-home order meant to curb the spread of the coronavirus. “Leaders everywhere have heard a few concerns from children, so I wanted to be sure to address two important topics with our kids — the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy,” Whitmer tweeted Wednesday, sharing a video message sitting in her home with her dog Kevin.

Authorities in Washington state responded late Wednesday to reports that hundreds of inmates at the Monroe Correctional Facility threatened to start fires and take correctional officers hostage, reports said."Th ere were no injuries to staff or incarcerated men. Both housing units were fully evacuated. The facility is on restricted movement. The situation is under control," a corrections statement said. The Seattle Times reported that inmates and their families have raised concerns about the living conditions after six prisoners at the facility tested positive for COVID-19. Corrections officials told Q13 News that 111 inmates were in the same minimum-security area as two of the prisoners who are currently in isolation. The Washington State Patrol told Q13 News that there was a “major disturbance” at the facility and the situation is still unfolding. KIRO 7 reported seeing dozens of inmates handcuffed on a nearby field.
