CBS News has fired the employee who allegedly accessed the hot mic audio of Amy Robach expressing her frustrations over ABC's refusal to air a Jeffrey Epstein expose which featured an interview with his former sex slave Virginia Roberts. Yashar Ali reported on Wednesday that ABC had identified the individual who accessed the video, while noting that the person was no longer an employee of the network. ABC executives then decided to inform their counterparts at CBS that the person who was responsible for the leak was now working for their news division, according to Ali. Hundreds of mourners embraced in grief under white tents erected in the La Mora community in Mexico's Sonora state on Thursday to mourn the nine American women and children gunned down in the grisly attack earlier this week. Relatives have carried the handmade pine coffins holding the remains of one mother and her two children into their breakaway Mormon community in Mexico as the first funerals were held for the family slaughtered in a drug cartel ambush. Male family members carried in the remains of Dawna Ray Langford, 43, and her sons Trevor, 11, and Rogan, 3, before they were buried at the community's small cemetery. Members of the extended community had built the coffins themselves and used shovels to dig a mass grave for the three in the rocky soil of La Mora's small cemetery. ๐ฟ

Thursday's re-enactment of the military event marks the 78th anniversary of march on the 7 November 1941.
Emmanuel Macron has blasted 'brain dead' NATO and warned that Europe can no longer rely on America to defend its allies. 'I'd argue that we should reassess the reality of what NATO is in the light of the commitment of the United States,' the French president told The Economist at the Elysee Palace. 'You have no coordination whatsoever of strategic decision-making between the United States and its NATO allies. None. You have an uncoordinated aggressive action by another NATO ally, Turkey, in an area where our interests are at stake.' Asked whether he still believed in Article Five of NATO's founding treaty - under which an attack against one is considered an attack against all - Macron answered: 'I don't know ... what will Article Five mean tomorrow?' #facepalm

A Bolivian mayor has been doused in red paint and had her hair hacked off by protesters who blamed her for the deaths of two opposition protesters. Patricia Arce, of the governing Mas party, was dragged out of Vinto town hall and subjected to four hours of degradation in which she was made to kneel and sign her resignation. Young men carrying batons and wearing masks chanted, 'Murderess, murderess,' as they marched Arce to a platform where they cut her hair before the baying mob. Bolivia has been gripped by deadly protests following President Evo Morales' election victory on October 20 over claims it was rigged.

An atheist group has complained about new decals on a Florida county's patrol cars that feature an American flag and the phrase "In God We Trust." The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) argues the new "patriotic" decal, suggested by a local military veteran, is "frightening and politically dubious" in a letter to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, but Sheriff Wayne Ivey isn't backing down. โThey have a better chance of me waking up thin tomorrow morning than they do of me taking that motto off our cars!" Ivey told Fox News. โI personally believe that our country is at a tipping point, and if we, as strong patriotic Americans, donโt stand for the principals of our great nation, we are going to lose the America we all know and love!" ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ
