NEW: On November 7, 2026, at 9:20 a.m., our 911 Dispatch Center received a call about a vehicle that crashed into a building in the 8100 block of West Waters Avenue.
When deputies arrived, they found the vehicle had driven into a pawn shop, causing significant structural damage.
The business was open at the time, but no customers or employees were struck or injured.
The driver, a 74-year-old woman, told deputies she accidentally pressed the gas pedal while trying to park. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
