Palm Springs Police Officers Lesley Zerebny, 27, and Jose "Gil" Vega, 63, were brutally gunned down in 2016 by John Hernandez Felix. Lesley had just returned to duty following maternity leave, having given birth to a daughter four months earlier. Vega was just months away from his retirement after nearly 30 years of service. A jury of his peers and a Riverside County judge convicted Felix and sentenced him to death. That’s how our justice system was supposed to work. Now, without even notifying victims’ families, Governor Newsom has commuted the death sentence for Felix and other evil violent criminals who juries and judges rightfully sentenced to death. That’s not justice for the victims. That’s not justice for Lesley and Gil.

A few hot spots for rain this weekend include the pacific northwest, south Texas, and the northeast. Otherwise, quiet conditions dominate most of the country.

Being a police officer I can't imagine trying to do my job under Democrat rule. I've been extremely lucky my whole career. I can't imagine the struggles many officers are going to have in Texas & other flipped states. Voters have no idea how bad they messed up & the magnitude👮‍♂️

President Trump is the most transformative political leader in American History — and he has single-handedly saved America from those who would destroy it.

It has been the privilege of my lifetime to have served on his team from Day One, and I am honored beyond words to serve as his White House Chief of Staff.

I want to thank the incomparable Susie Wiles for her years of devoted service to the President and the Country, and for her friendship.

The mission now is more clear than ever: Fight with all of our soul to support our President and defend this magnificent Republic.

It is with deep sadness that the Torrington Police Department announces the passing of retired Police Chief Robert “Bob” Milano. Chief Milano was hired on April 20, 1975, and retired on March 9, 2009, after 33 years in law enforcement. During Chief Milano’s career at Torrington Police Department he excelled in different assignments, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on October 16, 1986. As a Sergeant he worked as a supervisor in the Patrol Division, Detective Bureau and the Training Division. In August 1998 he was promoted from Sergeant to the rank of Deputy Chief. In June 2004 Bob was appointed to Chief of Police where he served until his retirement. Chief Milano was well respected within the police department and the community he served for so many years.

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.🙏🏻
