NEW: Manhattan Residents enraged over delivery bikes flooding their street.
East Village neighbors spoke on 1st Avenue and East 11th Street on Thursday afternoon, saying their block has been taken over by parked delivery e-bikes.
Speakers said the street holds about 40 parked cars but roughly 400 e-bikes, and one resident said rats crawl in and out of the delivery bags. "Why are 400 e-bikes on this one block?" an organizer asked the crowd. Longtime resident Michael Anton said the bikes keep multiplying every time he steps outside.

BREAKING: The Yamhill County Sheriffβs Office said it has received a report that two helicopters collided in the air and crashed near the McMinnville Airport, Oregon on Thursday afternoon.
The sheriffβs office said it did not have any immediate information on the number of people on the helicopters or their conditions.
The call to the sheriffβs office came in at about 2:15 p.m. The two helicopters crashed near Southeast Highway 154 and Stringtown Road southeast of McMinnville.

On October 29, 2026, at approximately 2:10 p.m., witnesses reported to Yamhill Communications Agency (YCOM) that two helicopters had crashed near the intersection of SE Amity-Dayton Highway (Highway 233) and SE Cruickshank Road, southeast of McMinnville.
Responding personnel located a 1995 Robinson R22 helicopter and a 2018 Airbus AS350B3 helicopter crashed in a field adjacent to Highway 233. Medical and law enforcement personnel confirmed there were two occupants in the Robinson helicopter and one occupant in the Airbus. All three were deceased.
The occupants of the Robinson R22 were identified as flight instructor Maddie Aasbo, 22, of Texas, and a student pilot from the United Kingdom, whose identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification. The sole occupant of the Airbus AS350B3 was identified as Tyler Delane Sturdevant, 38, of Newberg.
