INDIANA STATE POLICE K9 LEO JUST GOT A VEST THAT COULD STOP A BULLET OR A BLADE.
Leo now has a donated ballistic and stab protective vest, thanks to the nonprofit Vested Interest in K9s.
That’s a good day for Leo and for the trooper who works beside him. These dogs run into the same danger their handlers do, and now Leo goes in with a little more between him and the worst day of his career.
Here’s the part most people don’t know. A lot of K9 vests in this country come from charities and donors, not from the agencies themselves.
Thank you to everyone who chips in to make days like this happen. Stay safe out there, Leo.
Did you know most police dog vests are paid for by donations?

If your state has Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs), your deputies may be responsible for enforcing them. As Deputy Chief Mitch Cunningham (ret.) puts it, ERPOs are a practical tool, and they work best when the people using them are well trained and well supported.
Through our partnership with the Johns Hopkins ERPO Resource Center, NSA is bringing training and resources to sheriff’s offices nationwide so agencies can use ERPO effectively and with confidence.

Happy birthday to country music legend Lee Greenwood!
Best known for his patriotic anthem "God Bless the U.S.A.," the Grammy Award-winning singer has become a familiar voice at President Donald Trump's rallies, with his iconic song often playing as the president takes the stage.
Greenwood has performed at several of Trump's rallies and political events, including inauguration celebrations and America's 250th anniversary festivities in Washington, D.C., earlier this year.

NEW: The suspect charged w/ murdering a Walmart manager in Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday is a Haitian illegal alien who flew into the U.S. via former President Biden's CHNV mass parole migrant flights program in 2023. Per sources, 23-year-old Destino Jean-Louis flew into the US on 11/24/2023 via Fort Lauderdale International Airport, and his legal status was revoked on 6/12/2025 after President Trump terminated the program.
Jean-Louis had previously been married to the victim he killed as part of an immigration-related sham marriage arrangement that was designed to help get him get a green card in the US. But after DHS denied the application in July, the victim, Latosha Cooper, withdrew the petition and cut off contact with him, and Jean-Louis became angry. He is accused of shooting Cooper in the head outside of the Walmart on Wednesday after finding out about her work schedule. He previously worked at the Walmart with her. The DA in Montgomery County, PA has now charged him with murder.
