NEW: A Plymouth Township man has been arrested after, officials said, he injured a pair of police officers during an altercation that arose after he, allegedly, tried to take an officer's firearm.
According to police, the incident followed report that officials received at about 4:54 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2026, when two officers from the Plymouth Township Police Department responded to a home along the 2000 block of Chemical Road on a report of a man -- identified by police as Dallas Whitt Anderson-James -- violating a protection from abuse order by repeatedly contacting a victim involved.
One officer was treated, released and has since returned to work while, officials said, the second officer was released from the hospital but remains out of work as they recover from an arm injury.
