John Travolta, is that you? 👀

In honor of National Teen Driver Safety Week, we’re throwing it back to 1987, when John Travolta appeared on the cover of The California Highway Patrolman magazine in support of the CHP’s Sober Graduation program.

The campaign encouraged young people to celebrate graduation without drinking and driving, a message CHP officers helped carry into communities across California.

Nearly 40 years later, this cover is a pretty great reminder of CHP’s long history of educating young drivers and helping keep California’s roads safe. 🚔

Who remembers this issue?

Message from Fort Worth Police Chief Eddie Garcia:

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Officer Brian Gentry #3403.

On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, while on-duty, Brian experienced a medical emergency and went to a local hospital emergency room. He was abruptly admitted to the ICU and passed away hours later on October 21, 2026.

Brian has been with the department since 2004 and assigned to the Fugitive Unit as a U.S. Marshal’s Task Force Officer.

The loss of a member of our department is deeply personal. Brian was one of our own, and his passing will be felt by the many people who had the privilege of working alongside him and calling him a friend.

Our thoughts are with Brian’s family, loved ones, and fellow officers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.🙏🏻

WATCH IN FULL: President Donald J. Trump takes questions from reporters before departing the White House.

POTUS on Stephen Hubbard: If you would've put those [Russian] sanctions on or whatever you want to call them, you could forget about him. You'd never see him again. He'd be back in jail for 25 years.🎯

POTUS demolishes Fake News Kaitlan Collins (again): You're a Low IQ person, you're a dummy, and you work for CNN... Use your head.🤣

Another Faker asks the exact same question that POTUS already answered.

POTUS: Are you a stupid person? Who do you work for?

FAKER: ABC News

POTUS: You're a stupid person — and by the way, your network is the worst of all.😂

POTUS: I think it's one of the greatest things that we've done — we've stopped Iran from having a nuclear weapon. It's one of the best things that we've done. It took a lot of courage to do it because no other President was willing to do it — and if we didn't do it, Iran would right now have already used massive nuclear weapons.

Yesterday, CHP West Los Angeles Area officers responded to a fire on the Interstate 10 eastbound transition to La Cienega Boulevard southbound.

Fires can develop quickly and pose a serious risk to motorists and nearby communities. If you encounter a fire while driving, remain alert, maintain a safe distance, and follow directions from emergency personnel. Never stop in an unsafe location to observe or record the incident, and report any fire or immediate hazard to 911.

Let’s all do our part to keep our roadways and communities safe.
