NEW: Per federal source to FoxNews, the Saudi national arrested by the FBI for allegedly placing an eavesdropping device at OpenAI has a green card (lawful permanent resident) and was in the process of trying to naturalize into a U.S. citizen at the time of his arrest.
Iβm told Abdulrahman Alfozan filed his naturalization application last summer and it was still pending at the time of his arrest, with USCIS still needing to interview him, and his green card was approved in 2020.
Itβs unclear when/how Alfozan first came to the U.S., but Iβm told there are records of him flying into San Francisco in 2018 and NYC in both 2019 & 2020.

Letβs talk about tailgating, and no, not the kind you do before a football game! π
Did you know? At 70 mph, your vehicle travels approximately 103 feet every second!
Following too closely reduces your reaction time and increases your chances of being involved in a crash.
Remember the 3-second rule! Keep at least three seconds between you and the vehicle ahead, and allow more space during poor weather conditions.
Tailgating wonβt get you there much faster, but it could prevent you from getting there at all.

The FBI and DOJ are taking down international scam networks preying on Americans, with 28 arrests across Ghana and Nigeria as part of Operation Blackout.
Authorities seized more than 350 devices, identified over $11 million in potentially freezable funds, and identified more than 120 trafficked workers for repatriation.
Working with Meta, authorities also helped remove more than 3.7 million Facebook and Instagram accounts, Pages, and Groups linked to suspected fraud.
Across the broader operation, the FBI says it has warned more than 10,000 Americans about potential scams, preventing an estimated $670 million in financial losses.
