BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: The cartel is threatening to kidnap federal agents and officers at the Texas southern border according to an internal alert obtained through DHS sources.

The alert says a known “alien smuggler” is planning to smuggle multiple illegal immigrants from Colombia and Venezuela into the United States— “Initial reporting indicates that the purpose of this operation may include attempts to target and kidnap CBP law enforcement personnel within the Presidio and El Paso areas of operation."

NEW: A Kingston NY Police Officer was injured Monday while on duty. According to the police department, incident happened around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Hurley Avenue and Quarry Street.

Police said the officer was directing traffic at the intersection when he was hit by a passing car. He was subsequently treated on scene but was later transported to the HealthAlliance emergency room for further treatment.
According to detectives, the officer is listed in stable condition.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests have been made nor have charges been filed as of Tuesday morning.

On September 13, around 9:30 p.m., officers were patrolling near South Westmoreland Drive and Long Street when a woman on a bicycle fled from a traffic stop.

Then K9 Odi went to work and found 42-year-old Ebony Loyd in a nearby backyard.

Loyd was transported to the hospital for treatment of a dog bite and was arrested on the following charges:

End of Watch, October 6, 1873: Police Officer Thomas Marshall Baldwin

On this day, Officer Baldwin succumbed to injuries sustained on July 27, 1873, when he was assaulted by a subject he had arrested for stoning a house at the intersection of Front Street and Hillen Street.

He was walking the prisoner to the Middle Police Station when he was attacked and severely injured. He was confined to his home for several months before returning to work. He was able to work for one month, but his condition again deteriorated, and he died on October 6, 1873.

It is not known if the man who attacked him was ever tried.

Officer Baldwin had served with the Baltimore City Police Department for three years. We will never forget.

BREAKING: Christa Pike is conscious and speaking nearly a week after a botched execution left her critically injured and temporarily on a ventilator, her attorneys said Tuesday.

"Her recovery is medically unprecedented.
