The deputies attempted to make an enforcement stop based on California Vehicle Code violations and a vehicle pursuit ensued.
The vehicle pursuit was cancelled for the safety of the public. During a follow up investigation by the Street Takeover Taskforce Detectives, the suspect was identified and the vehicle was located in the City of Long Beach.
A warrant was obtained for the arrest of the suspect for felony evading charges and a second warrant was obtained for the seizure of the vehicle for 30 days.
This case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorneyβs Office for filing consideration.
We take these street takeovers very serious and will continue with more operations and investigations.

BREAKING: LA's 'mansion tax' backfires spectacularly as thousands of homes and jobs vanish.
LAβs βmansion tax,β sold to Angelenos as a way to tax the rich and boost housing, has instead blocked the building of 9,100 homes, wiped out 16,650 full-time construction jobs and cost $452 million in revenue.
A damning new report says the tax, officially known as United to House LA, or ULA β has had a negative impact on the cityβs high-end and multi-family real estate markets and collected less than half what it was expected to generate to tackle the cityβs housing crisis.
The ULA was expected to raise about $900 million a year, or $2.7 billion over its first three years. Instead, it brought in about $1.2 billion.
