Taxpayers funded his private toilet 🚽

A Massachusetts housing chief used public credit cards to remodel his own bathroom, then walked on a sweet deferred deal.

Welcome to Democrat-run Massachusetts.

Michael Lara ran the Watertown Housing Authority from 2019 to 2025. ⠀

That agency houses low-income, disabled, and elderly tenants. ⠀

Federal prosecutors say he put about $6,200 in personal renovation supplies on WHA cards in 2023. ⠀

The haul included a $1,600 double vanity at Home Depot and about $3,100 at a bathroom showroom for his Norwood house. ⠀

He later became executive director of the Newton Housing Authority.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts charged him with one count of wire fraud.

Lara took a deferred prosecution agreement instead of a trial. ⠀

He must repay the $6,200, stay clean of federal crimes for six months, and resign from Newton.

Public housing money is supposed to fix units for people who cannot afford a contractor.

A Century of Service

For 100 years, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau has served as a vital link between the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the media, and the communities we serve.

As Sheriff, I am proud to celebrate this historic milestone and honor the generations of personnel who have helped build the Bureau into what it is today. I also want to recognize our dedicated personnel currently carrying that legacy forward and thank the countless media partners who have worked alongside us throughout the decades.

For a century, these relationships have helped us share critical information, tell our stories, and keep the public informed. I am grateful to everyone who has been part of this 100-year journey.

Here’s to a century of communication, partnership, and service, and to the next 100 years.

THREAT IDENTIFIED. ACTION TAKEN.

FBI Jacksonville received a Threat-to-Life tip involving an alleged mass-shooting threat against a Clay County school.

Our people moved FAST.

Working with our state and local law enforcement partners, the information was immediately acted on, the individual was identified, and an arrest was made before any reported violence occurred.

This is exactly what happens when law enforcement works together — intelligence moves, cops act, and our kids are protected.

We will continue using every lawful tool and every partnership we have to find these threats and STOP them before they become tragedies.

Great work by FBI Jacksonville and our partners in Green Cove Springs.

This illegal alien from Mexico killed TWO police officers in California and is laughing about killing more:

“I will break out soon and I will kill more."

Luis Bracamontes, accused of killing a California deputy and detective in 2014, laughed in court during his murder trial in Sacramento. In a chilling outburst, he threatened to kill more law enforcement officers.

Democrats are fighting every day to protect SICK criminals like this.
