MORE THAN $10 MILLION meant to help low-income families pay for childcare allegedly went to daycares where, in some cases, almost NO children were showing up.

Federal agents just arrested 12 people in San Diego County after an investigation into what prosecutors describe as bogus home daycare operations.

DOJ says the defendants submitted attendance records claiming they were caring for children day after day. Surveillance at one location covering 57 days allegedly showed children coming or going on ONE DAY, which happened to be the day a state inspector arrived.

And it gets worse.

Prosecutors say several defendants claimed they were providing childcare on dates when border records showed they were not even in the United States.

Each defendant allegedly collected between roughly $538,000 and $1.2 MILLION through the schemes.

That money was supposed to pay for childcare for families who needed help.

Federal prosecutors say more than $10 million went somewhere very different.

Honored Retirement of Officer Valdez!

The Pueblo Police Department proudly recognizes the distinguished career of Officer Devin Valdez. Officer Valdez began his career in law enforcement in 2021 and served diligently in patrol. During his career, Officer Valdez received the distinguished service award and next month will be awarded the purple heart.

Officer Valdez was shot in the line of duty in March 2025 where he faced one of the most difficult moments imaginable and still found the strength to move forward. Due to the injuries sustained, he is unable to return to full duty as a police officer. Officer Valdez has showed us what courage, sacrifice and resilience looks like.

Today marks not just the end of a career, but the beginning of a well-earned new chapter. Thank you, Officer Valdez, for your bravery and service to this community. You leave with our deepest respect.πŸ’™

POTUS: Today, I signed an Executive Order opening up millions of acres of federal lands to our GREAT hunters and fishermen.

The second Executive Order I signed today eliminates absurd federal regulations on our saltwater anglers, boaters, charter captains, and coastal communities.

America's outdoorsmen have not had a better friend in the Oval Office for many, many years.🎯

THEY CALLED 911 FOUR TIMES BEFORE THE ATTACK EVEN STARTED.

Then a white female York College student says she was ripped off of her own porch by her hair and dragged all the way to a stop sign. In the disturbing video you can see a black female beating her, with a group of other women diving in. Meanwhile, a crowd of people stood around FILMING THE ATTACK.

The victim says roughly 12 people were kicking her at once. She blacked out TWICE, once after being kicked in the ribs and again after being struck in the back of the head. Her friends were attacked too, including one already wearing a knee brace.

The students say they repeatedly called 911 while a huge crowd gathered outside and cars were street racing through the neighborhood. They were told officers were coming.

Students say another woman had been attacked by people they believed were from the same group just TWO WEEKS earlier.

These students were asking for help BEFORE somebody got hurt. We need answers.
