NEW: Three officers and a police K-9 were injured, and a suspect is dead following an officer-involved shooting in North Park Wednesday morning, according to San Diego police.

SDPD officials confirmed three officers involved in the incident were treated for burns.

K-9 named Ryder, was treated for severe burns to his face but was released from a veterinary hospital hours after the incident. A vet said Ryder is expected to fully recover from his injuries. Police said the suspect was carrying a torch and flammable liquid into the adult emporium. The suspect then burned a police K-9, authorities added.

Firefighters Rescue Kitten Trapped in an Entertainment Center 🚒

Ventura County Fire Department responded to a report of an animal in distress and discovered a kitten trapped inside an entertainment center.
Suki had only been with her new family a few weeks when she crawled partway into an opening in the cabinet and couldn’t back out.
Firefighters from Engine 50 in Camarillo removed the A/V equipment from the cabinet, gently lowered it into a more workable position, and carefully freed her.

Suki showed no signs of injury and was returned to her relieved family.

WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?! Disturbing video out of Charlotte shows a GROUP OF TEENAGERS attacking one high-school student, knocking him down and continuing to punch and kick him, including a kick directly to his face.

This was not two kids squaring off in a stupid schoolyard fight.

The video shows multiple teenagers piling onto ONE kid while he is already overwhelmed, and the attack reportedly happened at Blakeney Town Center, a place where families should be able to shop and eat without watching a teenage mob beat somebody into the pavement.

Thankfully, the victim, an Indian Land High School student, was later reported to be okay.

CMPD is investigating the attack.

A local teacher who watched the video said it made him almost physically sick and warned that Charlotte may be seeing the beginning of the kind of “teen takeover” behavior other cities have experienced.

Today marks three years since Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer tragically lost his life while serving the community he dedicated himself to protecting.

Ryan was just 30 years old and had proudly served the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for eight years. Throughout his career, he exemplified courage, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.

We continue to honor Ryan’s devotion, sacrifice, and the lasting impact he made on his family, friends, partners, and our department. His loyalty to the people around him and his legacy of service will never be forgotten.

Today, we remember Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer and honor a life taken far too soon.

This morning, the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from an illegal alien in far eastern Terrell County. The Dispatcher/Jailer on duty was able to obtain the caller’s GPS coordinates, and a subsequent report was received from a local landowner.

A Terrell County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the caller’s coordinates and encountered one illegal alien.

The illegal alien was transported to the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office, where Terrell County EMS administered an IV for dehydration. The individual was subsequently turned over to the Sanderson Border Patrol.

🐕K9 BRUNO UPDATE

K-9 Bruno is currently in stable condition and continues to be closely monitored by the medical team in Salt Lake City. Bruno sustained two broken legs and a fractured jaw because of the fall.
We are happy to share that he is in good spirits and is scheduled to undergo surgery this afternoon to repair his broken leg.
Despite the seriousness of his injuries, Bruno continues to show us just how tough he is. We know he has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but we are encouraged by his condition and the care he is receiving, special thanks to Bruno's care team at MedVet.
We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support Bruno and his handler have received from our community and fellow first responders. It means a lot to our department during this difficult time.
Please continue to keep K-9 Bruno and his handler in your thoughts and prayers as he heads into surgery. We will provide another update once Bruno is out of surgery and we know more about his condition.🙏🏻

On Sept. 16, under the direction of SOUTHCOM, Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere (JTF-WHEM) forces successfully interdicted a floating refueling station supporting illicit at-sea drug trafficking operations in the Eastern Pacific.

Intelligence confirmed the vessel's involvement with the Los Choneros violent narco-terrorist organization. Individuals removed from the vessel have been transferred to Ecuadorian authorities. After clearing the vessel and disembarking the crew, U.S. forces sank it. JTF-WHEM continues to conduct precise and professional operations to dismantle the logistical networks fueling narco-trafficking in the Western Hemisphere.
