HORRIFIC: Newly released bodycam shows Georgia police Sgt. Chris Fisher arresting the man authorities say would shoot and kill him just five days later.

Jimmy Lee Steverson, 23, was restrained and tased after fighting with officers during the Aug. 27 arrest. Police found approximately 34.6 grams of marijuana and three rifles inside his truck. He was charged and released on a $10,000 bond.

Five days later, authorities say Steverson pulled alongside Fisherโ€™s patrol car and opened fire, killing the 36-year-old officer.

Steverson later died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after deputies stopped his vehicle in South Carolina.

NEW: A Massachusetts family says the state took custody of their teenage daughter after they refused to affirm her as a boy, citing their Catholic faith.

The parents allege a school counselor socially transitioned their daughter without their knowledge, then reported them to the Department of Children and Families.

Now the state has guardianship, and a restraining order prevents the teen's parents and older brother from contacting her.

A judge has temporarily blocked the state from administering high-dose testosterone as the family fights the case. The next court hearing is set for Oct. 29.

LATEST: Flash flooding brought on by heavy rains prompted road closures, water rescues and commuter rail problems across the tristate area Sunday.

The National Weather Service said the hardest-hit areas appeared to be northern New Jersey, parts of New Yorkโ€™s Westchester County and a swath of coastal Connecticut along Interstate 95. The service issued flash flood warnings across the region for much of the morning Sunday as rain fell at a rate of 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 centimeters) an hour in places.

Metro-North and Amtrak said their rail lines to New Haven, which serve Norwalk, Bridgeport and other major Connecticut communities, were experiencing delays and cancellations due to flooding impacts.

Tweed New Haven Airport also closed its departures terminal due to local flash flooding. Airport officials in a Facebook post said travelers with flights departing Sunday should not come until further notice.

Vice President JD Vance had a simple idea: Why donโ€™t we have a Most Wanted Fraudsters list?

So we built one.

In just 3 months: 5 fraudsters captured, 4,000+ days on the run, nearly $2 BILLION in alleged fraudโ€”across 3 continents.

The American people remain one of the FBIโ€™s greatest partners.

You give us the information. We find them. We bring them to justice.

We formally request an investigation into THIS GUY. On the 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11, hundreds of protesters and counterprotesters converged outside New York City Hall while families just blocks away were remembering nearly 3,000 people murdered in the worst terrorist attack on American soil.

One man was also captured repeatedly shouting โ€œAllahu Akbarโ€ (yes, really) during the confrontation. Can you even imagine a protest like this happening even ten years ago?

The demonstration centered on opposition to Mayor Zohran Mamdani attending the Ground Zero ceremony, with activist Jake Lang leading one group and counterprotesters gathering against it. Video from the confrontation showed shouting, physical clashes and at least one arrest as police worked to keep the groups separated.

One man was also captured repeatedly shouting โ€œAllahu Akbarโ€ during the confrontation, adding another jarring image to an already chaotic scene on an extraordinarily sensitive anniversary.
