An amused pet owner captured her puppy’s comical attempt to swipe a package of bacon from the kitchen counter.

Michelle Littledyke told Storyful she filmed her Bernedoodle, Monty, in her home in a Melbourne suburb after she noticed him reaching for something on the counter.

β€œMonty is a cheeky 11-month-old puppy, always keeping us on our toes. Nothing is safe” on the kitchen counter, she said.

β€œAnd I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”

On this 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department joins our nation in remembering a day that forever changed America.

We honor the lives lost, the families and communities forever changed, and all those who have carried the weight of that day through the years. We remember the courage, compassion, unity, and resilience that emerged in the face of unimaginable loss.

May we continue to honor their memory by carrying forward the spirit of unity that brought our nation together.

WATCH: President Donald J. Trump, first lady attend Pentagon 9/11 observance

Gen. Dan Caine: "Today and every day here at the Pentagon and around the nation, we remember the 184 lives taken here at the Pentagon and aboard American Airlines Flight 77, the thousands we lost in New York, and the 40 heroes aboard United Airlines Flight 93."

SecWar: "All told, Islamist terrorists murdered nearly 3,000 of our fellow Americans that day 25 years ago. It's hard to even imagine."

POTUS: "Today, we renew the sacred oath that we first swore in their names a quarter of a century ago: WE WILL NEVER, EVER FORGET."

POTUS on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001: "For anyone who lived it, no words can do justice to the anguish of that day."

POTUS: "We cannot forget that moment of immense and horrible evil that took place in this world, bent on the destruction of all that is good. But this morning, we also remember how America responded to that wickedness. On days like 9/11, we learn what a country is truly made of."

POTUS: No one can ever prepare for a day like 9/11 β€” but we can always choose to be the kind of nation the world saw in those days after. We can raise our children to know that their country is good, that their fathers are brave, and that our flag is a symbol of justice and freedom. We can be a nation whose heroes are not fanatics for an abstract cause, but the kind who race into buildings and give their lives on a Tuesday morning for strangers they've never met.

On September 11, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost and honor the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the sacrifices made that day and the lasting impact on our nation.

Today, we pause to remember.
