The FBIβs own handwritten notes are now public, and the discrepancies are undeniable.
My uncertain recollections were transformed into definitive statements in the official FD-302 later used against me. My words were materially changed, even though the agents who interviewed me reported that I appeared truthful.
I thank President Donald J. Trump and his administration for making these records available to the American people. Their release brings us closer to the full truth, but transparency alone is not enough.
Every remaining document must be released. Every person involved must testify under oath. Every alteration, omission, leak, and concealment must be investigated.
The American people deserve the truth. Accountability must follow, and it must begin now.

NEW: Mother bear fatally shot after charging an Eagle County deputy
On August 24, deputies responded to River Run apartments in Eagle-Vail for a sow and her cubs.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife and deputies had already been called there multiple times. On August 17 a man was injured by a bear with cubs near the apartment complex laundry room.
Deputies tried to haze the bears toward the river but yelling failed. A deputy then fired a rubber round into her hind legs. She spun and charged for a second time.
He fired and the mother bear was fatally struck.
CPW took the two cubs to a rehab center in Silt.

READ THE ROOM, MAMDANI. More than 100,000 people have now signed a petition asking NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani to STAY AWAY from the 25th anniversary 9/11 ceremony at Ground Zero.
And some of the people personally delivering that message are families who lost loved ones on September 11.
More than a dozen relatives gathered at City Hall Tuesday as the petition topped 102,000 signatures.
The families making the appeal have explicitly said their objection is NOT about Mamdani's religion or background (although WE certainly think those are reasonable objetions).
They pointed instead to his policies and personnel decisions, including his appointment of attorney Ramzi Kassem as chief counsel.
Mamdani has said he WILL attend Friday's ceremony. He has also designated September 11 as a citywide Day of Remembrance and Service and says his focus is honoring those k*lled and the first responders who served. Sure it is.
The families have made their position equally clear.

It's Wayback Wednesday! On last week's episode, we saw the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's take on Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." from the 1980's. This week, we fast forward from the 80's and land directly in the year 2009, for an updated version of the catchy song. Check out our deeply beloved Ford Crown Victorias!
2009 doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but the hairstyles, clothing, and technology in the video have noticeably changed since then. What hasn't changed is our commitment to the tradition of service - from mountain to ocean, desert to metropolis - no matter the season... or the decade.
We hope you've enjoyed this week's glimpse of the past. The deputies you see here work dynamic jobs that still exist on the Department in almost any environment imaginable. If you're looking for that kind of adventure, give us a call - the number and the website at the end of the video still work!

HORRIFYING: ANOTHER MOTHER accused of k*lling her child just had her prosecution paused for a competency evaluation.
Two months before Shanna Kay Whitton's 15-month-old son Matthew died, a therapist reportedly warned Kansas child welfare officials that he might not be safe with his mother and raised concerns about possible medical child abuse.
First Matthew had already nearly drowned, then investigators say a fire was intentionally set in his BEDROOM.
A month later, Whitton claimed Matthew choked on a meatball.
His autopsy found NO food in his airway and concluded he d*ed from an INTENTIONALLY afflicted asphyxial event.
And Matthew wasn't Whitton's first child to d*e. His 2-year-old sister had d*ed the year before in a choking incident that was ruled accidental and is now being reviewed again.
After everything we just watched unfold in Massachusetts, you can bet people are going to be watching very closely to see where THIS case goes.
