NEW: Stockton police arrested a man overnight after he allegedly hit an officer in the face while being taken into custody following a car crash.

HE WAS REMOVED FROM AMERICA SIX TIMES, came back AGAIN and later s*xually assaulted a severely disabled woman in Michigan. Then a federal judge gave him roughly five months of time served in his illegal reentry case.

Edys Renan Membreño Díaz had already been sentenced to six to 15 years in state prison for s*xually assaulting a woman with cerebral palsy and cognitive disabilities.

His separate federal case was for illegally returning to the United States after six prior removals.

Prosecutors wanted additional prison time.

Judge Judith Levy instead sentenced him to roughly five months of time served and praised him for supporting his family and working “jobs that Americans apparently do not want to work in.”

Then she told him, “I commend you.” WTH is going on with these judges?

Six removals had already failed. He came back again. A profoundly vulnerable woman became his victim.

And somehow the federal sentencing hearing ended with praise for HIM.

Federal prosecutors appealed.

A Memphis Police officer was injured after running a red light and crashing into a vehicle early Monday morning in Southeast Memphis, according to police.

WREG crews captured photos of the wreck between an MPD vehicle and a white pickup truck at the intersection of South Mendenhall Road and Winchester Road around 5:50 a.m.

Governor Gavin Newsom refuses to report the truth:

El Segundo-based 24 Hour Home Care is laying off 738 employees on September 15. The company, which employs roughly 30,000 caregivers across California, says an unexpected end to a major third-party service arrangement triggered the cuts.

And it’s not isolated.

Stanford Health Care is cutting 95 positions, John Muir Health is eliminating 78, Sharp HealthCare recently announced 168 layoffs, and Dignity Health cut another 139 positions at hospitals in Los Angeles and Bakersfield.

Taken together, that’s more than 1,200 recently announced healthcare jobs disappearing across California.

In the midst of this tragedy and chaos, we want to honor Deputy Bailey’s unwavering dedication and commitment to Claiborne County, the very community he proudly served.

We are working diligently to ensure that no stone is left unturned. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation, and we will continue to work alongside them as this investigation moves forward.

Most importantly, we ask that you please keep Deputy Bailey’s family in your thoughts and prayers. They are suffering the greatest loss of all. Please also pray for the men and women of the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department as we mourn the loss of our brother.

For all the things that divide us, grief is a universal language and a defining part of the human experience. At some point, every one of us will love someone we have to say an earthly goodbye to.

I am still learning how to walk through each day carrying the grief I feel for my Charlie. Some days I have a vague understanding of God’s plan, others I don’t, but I trust Him completely. He is my only strength. I also know grief can be lonely, and sometimes hearing someone else put words to it makes us feel a little less alone.

I wrote this for anyone who has lost someone they love, anyone sitting in grief now, and anyone who someday will.

Suffering does not get the final word.

He admitted to doing DISGUSTING things and having fantasies about children and CALIFORNIA'S PAROLE BOARD FOUND HIM SUITABLE FOR PAROLE ANYWAY.

David Funston was serving 68 years, eight months to life for kidnapping and s*xually abusing children as young as FOUR.

At his parole hearing, he discussed fantasies involving an 8-year-old girl who had once played with his daughter. He also acknowledged that he is still attracted to female children.

The board approved him.

Funston never made it onto the street because Placer County filed a new criminal charge and authorities took him into custody on the day he was scheduled for release.

Thank God somebody found a way to stop what the parole board was prepared to do.

REHABILITATION DOES NOT WORK. What is a just sentence for a man like this?

NEW: ICE Los Angeles arrested Fidencio Villa-Rocha, 54, of the Mexico, Sep. 3. Villa has previous arrests for DUI, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, stalking, battery, and felon in possession of a firearm plus a final order of removal. He is in ICE custody pending removal.

It is with great sadness that the Needham Police Department shares the passing of retired Sergeant Richard I. Grudinskas, age 78, who passed away on Monday, August 31.

Sergeant Grudinskas dedicated an extraordinary 43 years of service to the Needham Police Department, retiring at the rank of Sergeant.

At the age of 54, while still serving as a Needham Police Officer and working his shifts, he attended the Massachusetts School of Law, graduating at the top of his class and earning his Juris Doctor degree.

NEW: ICE San Francisco arrested criminal alien Itzel Anahi Medina-Nieto, 28, of Mexico, in Sacramento. Medina has a conviction for pimping a child under 16 for which she was sentenced to 3 years in prison, and a parole violation. She is in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings.

The Minneapolis police chief testified under oath that officers were not trained to restrain suspects by placing a knee on their neck. But pages from Derek Chauvin’s training manual—later displayed by his mother—show that officers were in fact taught this technique.

Those pages were removed from the online manual after George Floyd’s death, so the public, and more importantly the jury, never saw them.

Another training slide shows the same knee placement and instructs officers to call an ambulance.

What most people don’t know is that officers requested one approximately 30 seconds after Floyd was placed on the ground.

If Chauvin was trained to use this restraint, why wasn’t the jury shown those pages of his training manual?
