Radical Democrats gearing up for woke 2.0
"Slogans may change, but the extreme leftist agenda remains."
As the midterm elections loom in less than three months, voters had better get used to terms like βcherry-pickedβ and βtaken out of context.β
Those are the standard replies of Democratic candidates caught saying indefensible things in past online posts.

OF COURSE IT'S A DEMOCRAT (AGAIN): The House Ethics Committee has publicly confirmed that Democrat Rep. Jimmy Gomez is under investigation over allegations of s*xual misconduct involving a House staffer.
The allegations first surfaced in June, but the committee has now taken the significant step of announcing its investigation publicly. It says the review includes an allegation of inappropriate s*xual contact with a staffer.
Gomez, a married father of one, maintains that the conduct was consensual and says he did not violate any law or House ethics rule.
But the same party that never misses an opportunity to lecture America about women, workplace power and moral standards now has another member facing serious scrutiny.
Congress must follow the evidence, release its findings and impose consequences if the allegations are substantiated. NO partisan protection. NO quiet burial once the headlines disappear.
Do you trust Congress to police its own members?

NEW: Federal judge Brian Murphy has lifted his stay of the termination of TPS for Ethiopians in the US. All Trump admin TPS terminations are now in effect for the below countries, which totals more than 1 million people.
El Salvador is next. TPS for El Salvador is set to end on September 9th and would affect roughly 170,000 Salvadorans in the US who have had TPS protections since 2001.

In the field with FBI Albuquerque β results for this FBI keep coming across America. Fentanyl and OD deaths in the nearby community dropped by over 75% thanks to an HSTF case out of this region seizing 80,000+ fentanyl pills and 29,000 grams of meth. Theyβre dismantling violent criminal networks, including one high profile 764 case in trial this month and taking down multiple serial killer networks. In February of this year they secured over a dozen guilty pleas in a local public corruption case. And theyβre doing outstanding work partnering with Indian country β recently including a breakthrough in a cold case homicide out of the Navajo Nation reservation as part of Operation Not Forgotten.

BREAKING: A federal judge is allowing the Trump administration to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 5,000 Ethiopians living and working in the U.S.
U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy in Boston lifted the last remaining judicial block preventing DHS from terminating Ethiopiaβs TPS designation.
The decision follows a June Supreme Court ruling that allowed the administration to end similar protections for thousands of people from Haiti and Syria and curtailed judgesβ ability to review DHS efforts to terminate TPS designations.
TPS provides eligible nationals of countries experiencing armed conflict, natural disasters or other extraordinary conditions with temporary protection from deportation and authorization to work in the U.S.
The Biden administration first designated Ethiopia for TPS in 2022, citing armed conflict and humanitarian conditions. DHS announced in December that it would terminate those protections, finding conditions no longer prevented Ethiopians from safely returning.

ICE files detainer against a 21-year-old Honduran illegal immigrant charged with a fatal hit-and-run that left a North Carolina father dead in the street.
Mauricio Josue Alberto Sarmiento allegedly struck 51-year-old James Robert Bagley III with his vehicle in Sylva, North Carolina, in the early morning hours of August 2 before fleeing the scene. Officers found Bagley lying unresponsive. He was pronounced dead from his injuries.
DHS confirmed Sarmiento entered the country illegally through Texas as an unaccompanied minor in October 2021, was arrested by Border Patrol β then "reunified" with an unrelated sponsor and released into the country under the Biden administration. He was already driving on a revoked license with an outstanding arrest warrant when the fatal crash occurred.
