Another day, another illegal immigration rioter from last summer is sent to federal prison.

Yachua Mauricio Flores, 23, of Lincoln Heights, was sentenced today to 37 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $253,415 in restitution for his role in an pro-illegal immigration riot in downtown Los Angeles last year.

During the June 8, 2025 assault on officers, Flores stood on the Main Street overpass of the 101 Freeway and poured lighter fluid onto a burning California Highway Patrol vehicle below. His reckless actions escalated the flames as officers were trapped below facing rocks, concrete, street signs, fireworks, and burning debris thrown by protesters.

Flores also directed another individual to ignite and pour flaming liquid onto the same vehicle before adding more lighter fluid. Minutes later, he helped throw an electric scooter over the railing toward officers and CHP vehicles, aware of the substantial risk of death or serious injury.

Actions have consequences. Those who attack law enforcement will face the full force of justice. This defendant can now reflect on his actions from a federal prison cell.

Thanks to the FBI Detroit team for hosting me and for bringing these great partners together.

When we work with partners like these, we get outstanding results, as you continue to deliver across the country.

So far, this FBI has worked with partners to capture four subjects on three different continents, allegedly responsible for $1.8 billion in fraud, who were on the run for 3,500 days, and you got them all in just 1.5 months. Outstanding work.

I couldn’t be prouder of what this FBI has accomplished to make America safer.

Attention everyone thinking of going to the Orange County Fair in California

Inside the art room they have put up a framed picture depicting Donald Trump being murdered soon

It says it’s Trump’s β€œLast Birthday” and declares β€œNo Kings.” It also has a LGBTQ+ Flag

Don’t support a fair that thinks it’s okay to put this up

WATCH: DEVASTATING WILDFIRES RIP THROUGH SPOKANE, WASHINGTON Fast-moving wildfires tore through neighborhoods across north Spokane, leaving entire communities reduced to ash. The wind-driven Old Trails Fire, along with the Autumn Lane and Fairview fires,…
The Autumn Lane Fire continues to be the most active this morning while crews say the Old Trails Fire and Fairview Fire stayed within their footprint overnight. Evacuations remain in place as emergency crews continue to work all three fires.

More than 2,000 firefighters are expected in Spokane County to fight the Spokane Area Fires this week. Officials said a key emphasis today is keeping drones out of the sky after 26 individual incidents of interference on Sunday.

Additionally, more than 200 people called the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) for evacuation after the fires broke out. Nowels said the sheriff's office has been able to account for all of them by phone except for 14.

NEW: The House Ethics Committee is recommending that Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-NC) be censured after their investigation found he created a hostile work environment for two female staffers due to sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior, including missing votes one evening to visit a female staffer's house to "perform chores like yard work, decorate her Christmas tree, and pick her up and drop her off for events and activities with his driver."

The committee found that Rep. Edwards showered the staffers with lavish gifts, brought them on trips, texted inappropriately, and apparently deleted text messages that the committee was unable to recover.

Some specific examples the Ethics committee found during their investigation

We are saddened to hear of the recent passing of Karen Martin, known best by the Treasure Valley first responder community as β€œBig Mama.” Every year for more than a decade Big Mama raised money to host her Coffee 4 Cops event, which eventually turned into Coffee 4 Cops, Fire and EMTs. Thank you Big Mama for the many years of coffee, conversation, and kindness.

We are taking historic action to protect one of the most vulnerable victims of the Biden Administration’s open border crisis β€” migrant children.

We have already located over 148,000 of these children, and we will not stop fighting until every last one is rescued.
