BREAKING: President Trump takes a moment to appreciate Camp David before kicking off a historic Cabinet meeting.
For the first time ever, cameras are allowed inside a Cabinet meeting at the presidential retreat, giving the public a rare look at one of the country's most private locations.
"The last visit was with Eisenhower where they allowed you onto the actual campus... but never into this room," Trump says before adding, "We have done a lot of open Cabinet meetings."
He calls his Cabinet "one of the most talented teams ever to serve the United States."

POTUS: "This is one of the most talented teams ever to serve in the United States government... and America is safer, and stronger, and far more successful than it was two years ago."
POTUS: "In Minnesota there was a cyberattack and they blame it on Iran... I blame it on Minnesota because they're grossly incompetent."
POTUS: "When we took office, we inherited a total catastrophe. The last administration created the worst inflation in 48 years, the most dangerous and insecure border in history, and exploding trade deficits like we have never seen before—rampant crime, men in women’s sports, transgender mutilization of your children, and chaos and bedlam all over the world... In less than 18 months, we’ve turned around four years of disaster and we now have the strongest border in American history... for the last 15 months, the report came out, again, we’ve had no people coming in through our southern border—zero... The murder rate saw the single largest drop ever recorded, to the lowest in 125 years."
POTUS: "On July 4th, we launched TrumpAccounts, a key provision of our Great Big Beautiful Bill. These tax-free investment savings accounts have already been activated by over SEVEN MILLION children. These are investments made in our future... millions of accounts are pre-funded with a thousand dollars from the U.S. Treasury or generous gifts from private donors like Michael and Susan Dell and others who have given billions of dollars... and buying really a great future for children."
POTUS: With my Most Favored Nation policy on drug prices, we're achieving record discounts on prescription drugs. We had the highest prices anywhere in the world by far. We subsidized the whole world, and I said we're not going to do that.
We now have the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world.
POTUS: "We're also making an unprecedented investment in the United States Armed Forces... [we're] looking forward to getting $1.5T next year... and the good news is ALL of that equipment is MADE IN THE U.S.A." 🇺🇸
POTUS on Spain: "It looks like an invasion of a country... and that same thing is going to happen to us if the Republicans don't get elected — except worse... If we're not in office, our country will be invaded at levels that make Spain look small time."
VP: "Just since the beginning of the Fraud Task Force that I started under POTUS' leadership and direction, we have identified $230 billion of fraud that's being perpetrated against the American people, and we have halted, already, $56 billion of that. It's sometimes hard, once the money has already gone out the door, it's hard to get it back, but stopping it from going out the door is how we saved the American people $56 billion and of course we're going to keep on working on that. Just today, Mr. President, we will announce 17 new anti-fraud actions that will total about a third of a billion dollars and that's added to the $230 billion that we’ve already uncovered." 👏
POTUS at the Cabinet meeting: "I want to just congratulate Jay Clayton — he's with us today. As you know, he's just had a big victory. He's going to do a fantastic job."
SecRubio: The International Criminal Court is an illegitimate international organization. They've made themselves illegitimate because they claim that even if you're not a member of that court, they can come after you. What that literally means in the future is that American service members, political leaders and others could find themselves under indictment by this International Criminal Court. To know a little bit about it, Jack Smith used to work there. We've now begun an effort to really try to bring that court to heel.

There is no constitutional right to swarm police, harass deputies, or obstruct traffic stops. A nation that excuses interference with law enforcement invites disorder, not liberty. Let police do the job we ask of them.

Today, we honor and celebrate the retirement of Sheriff Mike Linder after a distinguished career dedicated to serving Yellowstone County for over (40) years.
Sheriff Mike Linder started his law enforcement journey in 1985, as a Reserve Deputy with the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office. During that time, he worked patrol, helped out in the old jail on the 8th floor of the Courthouse, did river rescues, scuba diving missions, and was on various horse mounted details. He also became a certified EMT.
In 1989, Sheriff Mike Linder was offered a full time position where he started out in the Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit. There, he investigated drug crimes and worked undercover in Yellowstone County.
After (2) years, Sheriff Mike Linder transferred to the patrol division where he was a resident Deputy in the Huntley and Worden area.
In 1994, he was promoted to Sergeant.
In 1998, he was promoted to Lieutenant, and oversaw the patrol division afternoon shift. During Sheriff Mike Linder's years in the patrol division, he became involved in different special assignments such as firearms instructor, search and rescue, and SWAT, which included time on the entry team, sniper team, and eventually as the overall team leader.
In 2007, Sheriff Mike Linder was assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Offender Task Force as a Special Deputy U.S. Marshal, and spent (4) years tracking down and arresting violent fugitives.
In November 2010 Sheriff Mike Linder was elected Sheriff of Yellowstone County, and took over on January 1st, 2011. He was re-elected several more times, and is currently in his 4th term as Sheriff.
Throughout Sheriff Mike Linder's career, he has demonstrated steadfast leadership, unwavering integrity, and a commitment to the safety of our community and the men and women of the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office.
While this chapter comes to a close, the impact of Sheriff Mike Linder’s leadership and service will be felt for years to come. On behalf of the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office, we extend our sincere gratitude for his dedication and wish him a well-earned retirement filled with good health, happiness, and new adventures.
