Happy Retirement, K-9 Lara πŸΎπŸ’™

After nearly nine years of dedicated service, K-9 Lara is officially hanging up her badge.

Since joining the Atlanta Police Department's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Canine Unit in 2017, Lara has answered more than 800 calls for service, protected countless major events, and worked alongside local, state, and federal partners to keep our city safe, including during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Beyond her incredible work in the field, Lara and her handler, Officer Esquillin, made a lasting impact in our community by volunteering with a puppy program at a juvenile detention center, helping mentor and inspire young people through the unique bond between people and dogs.

Now, after years of loyal service to the City of Atlanta, Lara has earned a well-deserved retirement. She'll be trading long deployments for long naps as she enjoys life at home with Officer Esquillin and his family.

Thank you, K-9 Lara, for your unwavering dedication, faithful service, and the countless lives you've helped protect. You've left paw prints on the Atlanta Police Department and our community that will never fade.

Enjoy every moment of your retirement!

NEW: After only a month, homeless drug addicts have returned to the Arcade Creek drainage channel in North Sacramento, California. They've left another hot mess. This flows into some of the most important waterways in the city.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is once again tasked with enforcing this disaster. Taxpayer resources are being wasted again.
Where are all the environmentalists in CA? Why isn't Governor Gavin Newsom moving on this right now?

WATCH: President Donald J. Trump participates in a Bilateral Meeting with the President of the Republic of Lebanon

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun: "I've been looking forward to this visit for a long time β€” meeting such a great President like yourself."

POTUS: "See? He knows how to get to me." 🀣

POTUS: "It's a great pleasure to be with the President of Lebanon. He's highly respected... and the relationship is very good. I think that Lebanon has been a very mistreated country for a long period of time."

POTUS: "The Abraham Accords have been, I think, a tremendous success. I think you're going to see a lot of countries joining pretty soon. As you know, we have our original group, and it's so successful for them... I think Lebanon has a very important place."

"What is your level of concern of a blockade of the Red Sea by the Houthi rebels...?"

POTUS: "So far, it hasn't happenedβ€”it might happen, but we take care of things. If something like that happens, we take care of it."

POTUS nukes ABC Fake News's Mary Bruce on Iran: "You don't know what the dialogue is behind the scenes... You don't get that when you listen to your fake station. You don't know anything... They want to desperately meet β€” and until they're ready to meet in a meaningful way, we have no interest."

SecWar: "Iran's been given every opportunity to negotiate, to show that they're reasonable on the Strait of Hormuzβ€”but if they're going to shoot at commercial shipping, then we're going to hit them, as POTUS said, 10x harder. Every night, we're degrading them further and further."

POTUS: "I read stories and they try to give you phony stats. I was with Tom Homan this morning, he'll give you the statistics if you want, but we’re getting bad people out of our country at levels never seen before."

Q: "The Canada tariffs, are those a response to the wildfires?"

POTUS: "No. That's separate... It's only a response to the way they have treated our farmers and our people. Canada's been very, very tough on us over the years... and no other president's done anything about it."

POTUS on Iran: "How about these people? They're in this because of nuclear weapons, and they're trying to possibly reconstitute a site? We'll hit that site. Any site where they're even thinking about nuclear β€” we'll be hitting it very, very powerfully."

We are saddened to share the passing of retired K9 Tino. 🐾

Tino joined PBSO in 2017 as our agency’s first gun detection K9, helping recover murder weapons, discarded firearms, and guns hidden from law enforcement. His work helped pave the way for a program that has since grown to three gun detection K9s. After eight years of dedicated service alongside his handler, Tino officially retired in February 2025.

More than a partner, Tino was a loyal friend with a personality that left an impression on everyone he met. His legacy will continue through the program he helped build and the lives he touched along the way.

Rest easy, K9 Tino. Thank you for your service. You will be deeply missed buddy. 🐾

BREAKING: New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill says MVC software error, resulted in the voter registration of approximately 6,600 non-U.S. citizens, between June 2023 and June 2024.

"Last week I learned that a serious software error in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System led to the registration of roughly 6,600 people who indicated that they were not U.S. citizens between June 2023 and June 2024, almost three years prior to my taking office. These individuals answered "no" when asked on a keypad whether they were a U.S. citizen when applying for drivers' licenses and identification cards, but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway.

This happened under the previous administration and, upon learning this information, I immediately ordered my chief counsel to launch an investigation to get to the bottom of what occurred. I also ordered the removal of any residents from our voter rolls who were erroneously added between June 2023 and June 2024. The new MVC Administrator that I appointed has begun the process of replacing the vendor responsible for administering the system.

Our preliminary analysis shows fewer than 400 individuals who were newly registered for the first time because of the error voted. They were registered as Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters and were scattered across the state.

I want to underscore how seriously I take this matter. As a military veteran who swore an oath to defend our Constitution, and as a former federal prosecutor, I believe the integrity of our elections is fundamental to our democracy. I am appalled by the reckless failures that allowed this to happen and the lack of transparency shown by those in charge at the time. This failure didn’t occur under my watch, but accountability starts now. I am taking action to prevent anything like it from occurring in the future and make sure those responsible are held accountable.

As the Trump Administration tries to weaponize elections for political gain, I am ensuring we protect our elections. Let me be clear: Donald Trump has zero credibility on the issue of election integrity. For more than ten years, he has worked to undermine Americans' faith in our elections by spreading lies about legitimate election results, attempting to overturn a free and fair election, encouraging an attack on our Capitol when he couldn't accept the will of the voters, and defunding election security at the federal level.

The difference is simple: when we find a problem, we don't hide it, deny it, or invent conspiracies. We investigate it, we fix it, and we tell the public. That's what accountability and good governance look like, and that's exactly what my administration is doing.

New Jerseyans should have confidence that every eligible citizen can vote, every lawful vote will be counted, and every reasonable step will be taken to protect the integrity of our elections. That's my responsibility, and it's one I will never stop fighting to uphold."

Watch: Karen Bass is confronted by local LA news on her plan to repair the broken water pipelines, and she dodges each question like she's playing dodgeball.

"There's 7,400 miles of water mains in the city of Los Angeles, some of them dating back 120 years. We're only going to be replacing 45 miles of it this year. That's like less than 1%. If you do the math, it will take 164 yearsβ€”"

Bass: "Well...also...The issue there is how we speed that upβ€”"

"Where does the money come from?"

Bass: "Hold on......"

LA needs a new mayor.
