Last night, after a vehicle fire, E29’s crew of Oakland firefighters noticed a pigeon in distress. The crew reported the pigeon came up to them seeking help. The pigeon seemed to have suffered some smoke inhalation from the vehicle fire. E29’s crew administered the pigeon some oxygen and the bird shortly flew away after clearing out its lungs.🕊

BREAKING: 3 bags believed to contain meth were found inside the van of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, the Mexican national killed in the ICE shooting in Houston, according to a federal search warrant affidavit, Brooke Taylor reports.

According to the search warrant, the three plastic bags contained a “white crystal-like substance in the middle of the dash between the driver and passenger side of the vehicle.”

A federal judge has ordered convicted plane hijacker Miakel Guerra Morales released from ICE custody under supervision.

Morales served 21 years for aircraft piracy and conspiracy after he and others assaulted a flight crew and forced a Cuban commuter plane to land in Key West in 2003.
