UPDATE: Officials have cleared a Chicago cop who killed a man who tried to rob her of her gun during an off-duty confrontation in 2023. She stepped out of her apartment building to help the man after he got beat up by 3 people — but he turned on her and tried to take her weapon.

“Damn! I gotta go to work today,” she scolded him after the shooting. Your dumb ass just got me in trouble.”

If you spot a bear that is simply passing through and isn’t acting aggressively, it’s not necessary to call 911. Instead, share your photos or videos here and let the community know where you’ve seen bears popping up so everyone can stay informed. (This video was taken by our Swings A Team.)

If you encounter a bear, give it plenty of space and make lots of noise so it knows you’re there and can move along. Most bears want to avoid people.

You can also help prevent bear visits by keeping trash secured, bringing in bird feeders, and not leaving pet food or other food sources outside.

Deputy Dave S. Piquette was tragically killed on the 91 Freeway in Orange County July 7, 2006. The burglary suspect that caused the accident that day was sentenced to 16 years in prison. 

Deputy Piquette was survived by his wife, two sons, parents, siblings and his family in tan and green.

You would think that they'd be very willing to do something to help us, and they really weren't... And that's okay, but why are we spending hundreds of billions of dollars and they're not there for us? We've always been there for them."

POTUS on Turkey: "We're going to be taking the sanctions off... It's time to do that."

President Trump sounds the alarm in Europe, saying the whole continent has to be careful when it comes to immigration policies and energy.

"You probably noticed, Europe's a very different place than it was 20 years ago. A lot different, much different.”

“They're going to be careful with immigration and energy. If they're not careful with those two things, you're not going to have Europe anymore."
