Nearly four years on the run... and the search ended in Somalia.
Federal authorities say they've captured Abdikerm Eidleh, an alleged central player in the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud scheme that exploited a program meant to feed children during the pandemic.
Prosecutors accuse him of helping organize sham food sites and fake vendors that pocketed millions in federal funds.
The DOJ says his arrest proves fleeing overseas won't put fraud suspects out of reach.
"We will continue working every single day to wipe out fraud across the country," FBI Director Kash Patel said.

UPDATE: A Dollar General store manager was shot and killed in Columbus, Georgia, and the suspect was later killed after police said he opened fire on officers and a K-9 at a separate scene. Investigators said 44-year-old Alexis Hill was shot and killed atβ¦
UPDATE: K9 Havoc is back with his handler. That is the kind of win we need more of.
The brave Columbus PD dog took bullets in the line of duty and still pulled through surgery. He is recovering real good. His handler Cpl. Brent Wilson waited patiently until he could see his partner again. Those two are a team. Havoc did his job and now he is getting the care he earned.
This happened because a piece of shit named Jerome Willis decided to murder an innocent woman first. He walked into a Dollar General and shot the manager Alexis Hill dead over some crumpled bills for hamburger buns. Then the cops found him. They gave commands. Willis did not listen. They sent in Havoc to take him down. Willis opened fire on the dog and kept shooting at the officers. One cop took a hit too.
The police ended it right there. Dropped Willis dead on the spot. Good riddance.
Willis had been in and out of prison like it was a damn hotel. Juvenile robbery. Terroristic threats. Early releases every time. Our soft system keeps handing these predators second and third chances until good people pay the price. Chief Stoney Mathis called it straight. Murder and shoot at my officers or their K9 and we are going to kill you. That is how you protect the streets.
One less monster walking free.
Havoc is healing. The wounded officer is on the mend. Justice got served the old fashioned way when cops and their dog stood tall. Prayers up for Havoc and the whole team. These heroes deserve every bit of support we can give them.ππ»

The injured officer was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition, officials said.
Pace also said a police sergeant suffered bruises and lacerations during the incident.
No arrests have been made, but authorities said they are confident the suspect will be identified, noting that the incident was captured on an officer's body camera.
