Troopers also had the privilege of escorting the athletes to Mercer Airport as they departed for Minnesota to compete in the USA Gamesβa proud and exciting sendβoff for an exceptional group of athletes.
The New Jersey State Police is proud to support Special Olympics New Jersey and grateful for the opportunity to connect with such inspiring individuals.

π¨There were 90,178 officer assaults in 2025, marking yet another 10-year high, per the FBI.
It is why getting the Protect and Serve Act (S. 167 / H.R. 1551) passed into law this session is an absolute must.
The bill has received a decent number of co-sponsors, including most recently rep. Matt Van Epps & rep. Nick Langworthy. Yet it continues to be stalled in both legislature chambers.
Please take a moment to call your congressperson and both U.S. senators, asking for their support on this important bill.

House Republicans should unify, and stop voting down βRulesβ or, threatening to do so. Giving power to the Radical Left Dumocrats in the House to control what goes up for a Vote will make our outcomes worse, not better. No more grandstanding, please! They are the Dumocrats, and we canβt let them WIN! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Stephen Miller says the Trump Administration is "achieving results through incredibly efficient mechanisms" on removing illegal aliens: "President Trump signed an Executive Order to debank illegal aliens... the new funding that's been passed through Congress via reconciliation will allow deportation numbers to continue to climb."
Q: "Do you expect the Administration to deport anyone who loses TPS status as a result of this ruling?"
Stephen Miller: "Well, of course. If no longer have status in this country, then you're supposed to be deported."
Q: "Does the Administration consider Haiti a safe country?"
Stephen Miller: "For Haitians? Absolutely. Haitians live in Haiti... It'd be crazy for us to say that Haitians couldn't live in Haiti. It's their country."

βOur hearts are with the people of Venezuela who have lost loved ones and as they begin the difficult process of recovery following this devastating earthquake,β said Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert G. Luna. βNatural disasters remind us how quickly lives can be changed and how important it is for communities to come together during times of crisis. Here in Los Angeles County, we live in a region where a major earthquake is not a matter of if, but when. While our Department continuously trains and prepares for large-scale emergencies, every resident plays a critical role in preparedness. I encourage everyone to take time today to create an emergency plan, build a disaster supply kit, and have a conversation with their loved ones about what to do when the next major earthquake occurs.β
Being prepared today can make a significant difference when disaster strikes.
The Los Angeles County Sheriffβs Department works closely with local, state, and federal partners year-round to plan, train, and prepare for major emergencies, including significant seismic events. However, community resilience depends on a shared commitment to preparedness. We encourage all residents to review their emergency plans, update their disaster supply kits, and familiarize themselves with available preparedness resources.

Sheriff Ivey: "If you drive into Brevard County, you better drive exactly like you're supposed to, because if you are speeding, you're getting a citation. If you're a superspreader, you're going to jail. If you are not moving over, you're getting a citation."
