Please, praying for the San Antonio police officer who was shot in the line of duty this afternoon.ππ»
A man is dead after he killed his wife and injured a San Antonio Police Department officer during a shooting Friday at a Stone Oak home, according to SAPD Chief William McManus.
The shooting happened around noon in the 100 block of Red Hawk Ridge, near Hardy Oak Boulevard.
SAPD entered the home after 3 p.m. and found the man dead. During a news conference Friday afternoon, McManus said the man had a pistol and turned the gun on himself.
The man shot his way through the glass doors and made his way inside the home, McManus said. SAPD believes the man did not live at the residence.
The husband later killed βhis estranged, or soon to be estranged, wifeβ and barricaded himself inside, McManus said.
The chief said there were two children inside the house who lived with their mother, the wife. The children are OK, according to McManus. He could not confirm if the man was the father of the two children.
McManus said the man shot a police officer in the lower abdomen during the early hours of the barricade, which lasted nearly three hours. The condition of the officer is unclear.
Authorities believe the husband may be involved in a biker gang, McManus said.
The shooting drew a large response from law enforcement, and multiple residents in the neighborhood were evacuated from their homes.

Canoga Park: On June 13, 2026, at around 8:55 p.m., Topanga Patrol Division police officers responded to a radio call for a βScreaming Womanβ inside of an apartment unit, located in the 7500 block of Jordan Avenue.
The officers met with the person reporting (PR) who directed the officers to the apartment unit. The officers contacted the resident in the apartment unit; while speaking with the resident, a large dog was by her side barking at the officers. The officers asked her to secure the dog, and the resident closed her door momentarily. She re-opened the door, and the dog exited the apartment. Once outside of the apartment, the dog charged at one of the officers, resulting in an Officer-Involved Shooting.
The Los Angeles Department of Animal Services was notified, responded to the scene, and took custody of the deceased dog. The dog owner was at scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Force Investigation Division (FID) investigators responded to the scene and are investigating this incident. No community members or officers were injured as a result of this incident.

JD Vance NAILED IT π―
βIf everything is Jew Hatred, then nothing is Jew hatred.β
He started off by saying:
βCriticism of Israel often bleeds into βJew Hateβ.. Charlie Kirk was very worried about Israeli influence in American politics, and he really disliked antisemitism.
In the same way sometimes criticism of the Israeli government can be expressed in a way thatβs antisemitic, itβs just not the case that every criticism of Bibi Netanyahuβs policy decisions leads to antisemitism or is antisemitic.
Sometimes advocates for Israel make two massive mistakes:
1. Not delineating between Americaβs interests and Israeli interests because itβs not always the same
2. Always conflating criticism of the Israeli government with Jew Hatred β βif everything is Jew Hatred, then nothing is Jew hatredβ just like how progressives for 20 years called everything racist..and if everything is racist, then nothing is racist.β
