NEW: A police officer was injured while attempting to take a man into custody for public drunkenness on Thursday morning in Adams County, Pennsylvania.
A police officer was injured and taken to a local hospital while attempting to take a man into custody on Thursday.
Cumberland Township police said the incident happened around 7 a.m. at The Eisenhower Hotel & Conference Center in Gettysburg. Police and EMS crews said they were responding to a 911 call about an unconscious person.
When crews arrived, they found Batzaya Ariunbat, 32, laying on the floor next to a skill-game machine. Police described him as "highly intoxicated" and attempted to arrest him for public drunkenness.

The suspectβs getaway plan went off the rails pretty quickly.
After allegedly committing a felony domestic violence offense earlier today, the suspect fled into a local railyard and climbed on top of a train car in an attempt to avoid arrest. However, our βAngelβ in the sky had no problem spotting him. But how do you get someone down who has already been handcuffed?
Thankfully our friends from Anaheim Fire & Rescue Truck 8 had an idea.
A great example of teamwork between our patrol officers, Air Support Unit, and Anaheim Fire & Rescue. Thanks to everyone involved for helping bring the incident to a safe conclusion.

Please, praying for the Buffalo Police officer who was shot in the line of duty this afternoon.ππ» Buffalo NY Police are investigating an incident on Sherman Street which resulted in a police officer being shot. In a press conference, Buffalo Police Commissionerβ¦
The Buffalo Police Department, NY has identified the officer wounded in Tuesdayβs shooting as Officer Marc Hurst, a nine-year veteran. Police say Officer Hurst was shot SIX TIMES while responding to a call on Sherman Street. According to investigators, he suffered gunshot wounds to both calves, his upper thigh, and upper arm. Two additional rounds struck his bulletproof vest, with police saying the vest, along with his radio and taser, likely helped save his life. Officer Hurst underwent surgery Wednesday and officials say he has received a βgood prognosisβ as he begins his recovery at ECMC. The 33-year-old suspect has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and remains hospitalized in stable condition. Additional charges are expected. Another stark reminder of the dangers officers face every time they answer a call for help.
Please keep Officer Hurst, his family, and the Buffalo Police Department in your prayers.ππ»

NEW: A Sonoma County sheriffβs deputy suffered a fractured left elbow Wednesday evening, May 27, while arresting a man in a rural area near Rohnert Park, according to the Sonoma County Sheriffβs Office.
A lone responding deputy responded to a 911 call at about 7 p.m. on the 4800 block of Petaluma Hill Road after the caller reported a man walking through the area and checking gates and residential doors, the Sheriffβs Office said.
The deputy saw a man who matched the callerβs description and was the only person seen walking nearby, authorities said.
Deputy Nikko Miller said on Thursday, May 28, that investigators believed the man was the person reported by the caller, but he was not arrested on suspicion of prowling or attempted burglary due to lack of evidence.
During the encounter, the man ran away from the first responding deputy, according to the Sheriffβs Office. The deputy chased him a short distance and a fight followed, resulting in the deputy fracturing his elbow. A second deputy arrived during the struggle and helped take the man into custody.
The Sheriffβs Office said the man, who was on probation in connection to a previous case involving resisting an officer, suffered minor injuries during the altercation Wednesday. He was taken to a local hospital before being booked into Sonoma County jail, a standard procedure after physical confrontations during arrests, Miller said. Deputies arrested the man on suspicion of resisting an officer, violating probation and possession of a controlled substance.
The injured deputy was taken to a local hospital after the incident and released later Wednesday night and is currently on leave, according to Miller.
Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for the deputy's recoveryππ»

WTFβΌοΈ California Democrats have lost their damn mindsβ¦
California Democrats are trying to push through a bill that would lessen Prison Sentences only for Criminal ILLEGAL ALIENS, just so they wonβt get deported.
Not only that, California taxpayer funds would be used to provide illegal aliens with attorneysβeven those convicted of serious crimes like murder, rape, child predation, or other violent offenses.
AB 2600 & AB 2669 are now in the early committee stage in the California assembly.
