Mississippi: The Jackson County Sheriffβs Office is providing an update on the condition of Deputy Craig Scott, who was injured in a multivehicle crash Tuesday.
JCSO said Deputy Scott remains in stable condition and is making improvements. However, he still has a long road to recovery, with multiple surgeries planned.
βBy the grace of God, Craig survived. Given the circumstances of the accident, the outcome could have been far different, and we are beyond thankful he is still here with us,β the page reads.
The wreck happened Tuesday at the intersection of Old Biloxi Road and Stanley Road. It involved Scott, who was riding a motorcycle, and three other vehicles.
Craig was flown to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile. No one else involved in the wreck was taken to the hospital.

"For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.β
