WATCH IN FULL: President Donald J. Trump's interview with Bret Baier in Beijing
POTUS: "I think the most important thing is relationship. It's all about relationship. I have a very good relationship with President Xi, and with China... trade has been very strong... there's a lot of things happening for the farmers."
POTUS: "Itβs always been the biggest thing for [President Xi], Taiwan. Now, with me, I donβt think they'll do anything when Iβm here. When Iβm not here, I think they might, to be honest with you... I'd like to see everybody making chips over in Taiwan come into America."
POTUS: "We are leading China by a lot in the AI race... and weβre going to win it... President Xi was very surprised at how well we've done with AI. When it started, they took this gigantic lead, and now, we are substantially ahead of them in AI."
POTUS on Taiwan: "If you kept it the way it is, I think China is going to be okay with that β but we're not looking to have somebody say, 'let's go independent because the United States is backing us.'"
POTUS on Iran: "We really had the confines of a deal; no nuclear, they were going to give us the dust...and every time they'd make a deal, the next day itβs like we didn't have that conversation...theyβre crazy, and you know what? Because of that, they cannot have a nuclear weapon."
POTUS on Iran: "I'm going to do what's right. I have to do what's right... The Strait will be opened, they will not have a nuclear weapon, and the world will go on."

Today, on National Peace Officers Memorial Day, we honor all law enforcement officers who have been killed in the line of duty, and the sacrifices they have made to keep our communities safe.
Each year, the names of fallen officers are added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. This year, 363 names were added, including 109 officers lost in 2025. Among the additions from previous years is Oregon Game Warden Arthur S. Hubbard, who was killed in 1914 while serving a search warrant in Jackson County.
Earlier this year, OSP provided information to ensure Warden Hubbardβs name could be added to the memorial. Members of the OSP Honor Guard traveled to Washington, D.C. to honor him and all of Oregonβs fallen heroes.
The Oregon State Police has lost 34 members to line-of-duty deaths. These brave individuals made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the people of Oregon, and we honor their heroism today and every day.

BREAKING: Google Maps Satellite Imagery of Palisades Fire Area Reverts to Pre-Disaster Views Amid Mayoral Race Scrutiny
Pacific Palisades, CA Residents and observers are raising questions after Google Maps satellite imagery of areas devastated by the January 2025 Palisades Fire appears to have reverted to pre fire conditions, more than 16 months after the blaze.
The Palisades Fire, which erupted on January 7, 2025, in the Santa Monica Mountains, became one of the most destructive wildfires in Los Angeles history. The fire burned over 23,000 acres, destroyed thousands of structures across Pacific Palisades, Topanga, and Malibu, and claimed multiple lives.
Eyewitnesses and official reports confirmed widespread devastation, with satellite and aerial imagery shortly after the fire clearly showing scorched landscapes and leveled homes. Google reportedly updated its satellite layer multiple times in the following months to reflect the damage.
However, if you check now, recent imagery in many affected neighborhoods has reverted to older, pre-January 2025 views. Homes that burned are shown as intact, and the visible burn scar has diminished or disappeared in places.
I personally watched dozens and dozens of homes burn during the fire. Itβs pretty odd that the images would revert back to 2025 images to make it look undamaged. So many people donβt realize the magnitude of the size of the fire and now canβt see how much of the city burned.
If you donβt believe me, check it out for yourself!
The coinciding with the 2026 Los Angeles mayoral race. Challengers, including reality TV star Spencer Pratt, whose own home was destroyed in the fire have prominently criticized the delayed response of city officials, pointing to issues like resource management, preparedness, and recovery efforts.
The discrepancy in widely used mapping tools has left some survivors feeling the scale of their loss is being visually minimized at a sensitive time.
