WATCH: President Donald J. Trump delivers remarks at the state banquet dinner at the Great Hall of the People: "It was a fantastic day, and in particular, I want to thank President Xi, my friend, for this magnificent welcome... and for so graciously hosting us on this very historic state visit."

"The relationship between the American and Chinese people goes all the way back to Americaโ€™s founding... two and a half centuries later, that first connection has grown into one of the most consequential relationships in world history."

"Across the centuries, this mutual esteem grew into a relationship that reflected the tremendous talent and potential of our two people... at the request of China's ambassador, it was President Theodore Roosevelt who provided the funds to establish President Xi's alma matter, Tsinghua University."

"As allies in World War II, President Franklin Roosevelt's mentions of the brave people of China... drew loud cheers in his speeches in the United States, and everybody loved what he had to say."

POTUS extends an invite to President Xi and Madame Peng to visit the White House this September, proposes a toast at the state banquet dinner in Beijing:

"To the rich and enduring ties between the American and Chinese people. It's a very special relationship."

LIVE NOW โ€œI am not here for politicsโ€”I am here for accountability.โ€

The mother of murder victim Stephanie Minter confronts Fairfax Soros DA Steve Descano in JudiciaryGOP hearing.

Descano has dismissed criticism of his malfeasance as political attacks.

Fairfax County, VA Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano uses his opening statement to turn around and apologize to Stephanie Minter's mom:

"Miss Minter, I am deeply sorry for your loss, and I say that not only as a prosecutor, but as a parent of a daughter. I am sorry for what you were having to endure, and I promise that my office is doing everything we can to prosecute the man responsible."

Descano then went on to testify that his prosecution policies do not protect or favor illegal aliens. However, here's what his his website said for years until recently being removed:

โ€œWherever possible, Steve will make charging and plea decisions that limit or avoid immigration consequencesโ€ and โ€œIf two people commit the same crime, but only oneโ€™s punishment includes deportation, thatโ€™s a perversion of justice and not a reflection of the values of Fairfax County.โ€

โ€œPolice officers are willing to run headlong into danger for complete strangers.โ€
National Vice President Joe Gamaldi delivers a powerful reminder of what this profession demands. Whether it is a fire, an active shooter, or any other critical incident, officers run toward danger to protect the communities they love.
As we observe National Police Week, we remember the 363 names being added to the wall this year. These are not just names. They are mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters who gave their lives in service to others. They deserve the respect and reverence of the entire nation.
