Yesterday was day one of the 30th Annual Police Unity Tour. However, it holds even greater significance for the Los Angeles County Sheriffβs Department riders, as it includes a powerful stop at the memorial of Sergeant Christopher M. Bracks. Not only was he one of our own, but he was also a fellow rider who lost his life during this very ride while honoring fallen officers.
Sergeant Bracks was more than a member of the Department; he was part of the Police Unity Tour family. He rode with purpose, honoring the fallen and supporting the survivors left behind. Although his life was cut short, his impact continues to live on through every rider who carries his memory forward.
Chapter 7 riders stopped not only to remember him, but also to reflect on what this ride truly represents: sacrifice, brotherhood, healing, and the commitment to ensuring that those we have lost are never forgotten. Sergeant Bracks died with purpose, and his legacy continues to inspire every mile of this journey.
A special thank you to Patrolmen Paul Murphy and Tim Althamer, along with the other representatives from the Delaware Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Policemenβs Benevolent Association Local 188, for your response to the tragic event and your continued unwavering support.π

NEW: A Trenton officer was injured Monday after a collision caused their car to plow through a fence in the Holmesburg section of Northeast Philadelphia. Officials say it was the aftermath of a 20-mile police pursuit that started in New Jersey.
According to sources, the chase began in Trenton after a Trenton police officer assigned to a New Jersey State Police task force initiated a traffic stop.
The stop was reportedly connected to a weapons investigation. The dark-colored vehicle that had been pulled over fled the scene, crossed state lines, and traveled south on Interstate 95 before exiting onto Torresdale Avenue.
Sources said the suspect vehicle swerved to pass a white Toyota Highlander. The officer, driving an unmarked police SUV, attempted to do the same. The Highlander then veered too far to the left and collided with the police vehicle.
The vehicle being pursued was able to get away. Action News was told the officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for observation. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for his recoveryππ»
