UPDATE: Cole Allen
๐จ A second video from the WH Correspondentsโ Dinner involving a K-9 Dog and Fox News War Reporter Trey Yingst is going viral
Trey Yingst appears to panic or seems upset as he sees something he doesnโt like looking into the crowd and exits the frame only to reemerge redirecting a K-9 unit and his handler away from the crowd.
Did Trey Yingst redirect the K-9 and officer?
Is that the same officer? Canโt tell, but similar attributes.

WHO WAS THE MAC CLUB BOMBER
I can report the identity of the deceased driver: Bruce Valentine Whitman, a former MAC bartender and Portland resident. A source with direct knowledge of the investigation confirmed his identity. PPB and the FBI have not yet established motive.
Portland had met Bruce Whitman once before. In 2015, he dyed his chickens pink with beet juice and Kool-Aid and released them on the cityโs waterfront, telling reporters he wanted to make people smile.
In the early morning hours after a violent May Day, a car loaded with multiple improvised explosive devices crashed through the front doors of the Multnomah Athletic Club โ the building where Whitman had worked as a bartender โ and caught fire. The crash kill the driver and detonated some of the explosives inside the vehicle. PPB and ATF investigators are still on scene, with robots actively locating and handling additional devices found within the vehicle. The FBI is jointly investigating.
A source with direct knowledge of Whitmanโs time at the MAC described him plainly: โThe guy was a left-wing anti-capitalist antifa whack job.โ The source confirmed he struggled with mental health issues and that Whitman harbored a specific, personal grudge against MAC management.
Whitman was involved in a unionization effort at the MAC. The drive failed, and sources suggest he harbored significant resentment over how management handled it. His departure from the club was not amicable. His political views appear consistent with that resentment โ a Bernie Sanders supporter whose anti-capitalist worldview put him squarely in the ideological orbit Portlandโs radical left has spent years cultivating.
THE CITY THAT BUILT THIS
Portlandโs DSA-aligned city councilors didnโt hand Whitman the pipe bomb. But they โ along with the broader organized radical left that holds real institutional power โ built the cultural and political environment that produced him.
Councilor Angelita Morillo, a proud DSA member, has called for ICE to be dismantled โbrick by brickโ and described federal agents as a โmodern-day gestapoโ. Shortly before May Day, she posted a video addressing workers and activists. Her message: unionization and peaceful organizing were the nice way to fight. The hard way, she implied, remained an option.
That is the language of radicalization dressed in the vocabulary of governance. And it finds its audience.
Bruce Whitman was not a soldier in an organized movement. He was a disgruntled former employee with a grudge and a history of mental illness who built a bomb. But he was also a man shaped by a city whose elected leaders treat anti-capitalist fury as a legitimate governing philosophy โ and whose rhetoric tells people like him, every single day, that the institutions arrayed against them deserve to be destroyed.
Portlandโs radical left didnโt pull the trigger. But they spent years painting the target.
The investigation is ongoing. No motive has been officially established.

The LASD Grizzlies football team took the field and played the final game of the season against the Orange County Lawmen on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Walnut High School.
The game showcased exceptional plays, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Although the Grizzlies were defeated in the gridiron battle, everyone who participated in this competitive match enjoyed playing with one another.
The Grizzlies are the official full contact football team for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Our deputies have a passion for football and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a team. The team is a non-profit organization that raises money for charity specifically committed to the 999 for Kids Foundation.
The Grizzlies play in the National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL). Although the Grizzlies represent our department, the team welcomes all first responders to join the team. If you are interested in joining the LASD Grizzlies, visit their website at lagrizz.org.

Some folks made a big deal out of President Trump joking that diet soda is โhealthy.โ So yesterday on Air Force One, the President switched things up for us with a spicy virgin Bloody Maryโturns out the real recipe for good health might just be a sense of humor.

โThese are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.โ

On May 3, 1978, Carson Station Deputies Wally Hannan and Ernie Archuleta were responding Code 3 to an assistance request from another deputy. A vehicle pulled out in front of them and Deputy Hannan swerved to avoid hitting it. When he did so he lost control of his radio car and it struck a metal utility pole. Deputy Hannan died instantly. Deputy Archuleta suffered serious injuries which eventually forced him to medical retire.
Deputy Hannan died just two days after his 29th birthday. He joined the Sheriffโs Department on March 6, 1972. At the time of his death, he lived in Los Alamitos with his wife, Robin, and two children. In early July 1978, the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration gave $50,000 to his family. This money was awarded through the Public Safety Officers Benefit Act.
