On 07/28/2025 Police Officer Shannon Gregory was tragically injured in the line of duty with life-altering wounds. While attempting to apprehend a dangerous suspect and extract him from a vehicle in Dellwood, Missouri, the suspect kicked PO Gregory in the head multiple times, causing him to lose consciousness for a short time. Unfortunately, this incident caused him to sustain a non-curable, traumatic brain injury. He has lost his peripheral vision, has severe migraines, dizziness, cannot drive, and falls around 10 times per day. He needs help in every aspect of his life. "At approximately 5:30 p.m. on May 1, 2026, the Ottawa Police Department assisted the Kansas City Missouri Police Department in attempting to apprehend a homicide suspect from Kansas City Missouri. The incident occurred in Ottawa near 5th and Locust. During the event, an Ottawa Police Officer was shot. The officer is currently in stable condition at a Kansas City area hospital. We will provide further updates as they are received.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is on scene and handling the investigation. Other agencies have now taken over the operation. At this time, the suspect has not yet been apprehended."

DEVELOPING: Massive Manhunt Underway in Rochester, NY.

A major multi-agency search is currently in progress after a prisoner escaped custody following an attack on a deputy at approximately 9:15 AM today.

The New York State Police, Rochester Police Department, and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office have flooded the area with a massive response. Authorities are currently utilizing helicopters, drones, and K-9 units to track the suspect from both the ground and the air.
