Earlier today in the Arabian Sea, U.S. Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit boarded M/V Blue Star III, a commercial ship suspected of attempting to transit to Iran in violation of the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports. U.S. forces released the vessel after conducting a search and confirming the ship’s voyage would not include an Iranian port call.

American forces continue to operate and enforce the blockade across the Middle East. So far, 39 vessels have been redirected to ensure compliance.

Texas: A San Antonio police officer and a woman suffered minor injuries after a crash on the Northwest Side on Monday night.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. near Fredericksburg Road and Williamsburg Place.

According to a preliminary report, officers were in a patrol vehicle on Fredericksburg Road, and a pickup truck was exiting a private driveway.

The truck collided with the patrol vehicle, causing a T-bone crash, SAPD said.

The truck driver, a woman, remained on the scene after the collision, the report stated.

An officer and the woman were treated for minor injuries and are expected to be OK.
